I had mine balanced after getting it custom made. Still noise. I agree they are not highway vehicles. I have over 15K dollars spent trying to get rid of that vibration/noise.
I have the same issue above 60 mph. I have replaced the following with no resolution:
rims, tires, drive shaft (front and rear), 3rd member (front and rear), all wheel bearings, rebuilt transfercase, rebuilt a440 trans, Rebuilt engine, emergency brake rebuild, knuckles, ujoints, brake drums...
All,
I need to have my tranny rebuilt. It started whining really bad on the way home from work and then no go. I see mudrak recommended for FJ 62 work. Does he do tranny's? is there someone more local (san jose bay area) that does good work also? If I take it to murak I will have to have...
I would like to give a shout out to the gentleman who sold me the stock fj62 rims in Burlingame california. I do not know his mud handle but he is one nice guy. Oh yea he has one of the cleanest red fj62's I have ever seen.
All,
My dash lights went out on my way to work this morning. I looked at the fuse descriptions and saw non listed for the instrument lights. Is there a fuse (hope so) and what would it be labeled. Sorry for the question but I do not have access to me FSM at work. :D
