Have you asked Prospeed? You may not be the first person to try this. Looking at the mounting system, it looks like it has some adjustability both up/down and left/right.
Contact Ben the owner at Dissent. He had that kind of setup on his orange 200 Series. I’m sure he has the files saved and can make you something similar. @benc
I'd be interested in a set if you need some quantity to get them made. Been wanting some for a while and was always hoping Dissent would finally release them.
Hello guys,
Just posting this thread as we continue to improve the product line for the 100 series landcruiser. The comprehensive kit for the INTERIOR and EXTERIOR of the 100 series has been around for a while now.
The kits are sold...
Depends on how corroded your studs are at the exhaust manifold. I had to replace a stud on each side due to impatience. I would highly recommend using MAP gas on each stud prior to removing the nut. Get them glowing red, it will save you a lot of...
Hi all,
Posting my successful process of clearing my P0430 code on my 2003 LC.
awhile back I would get the CE, VSC lights that would stay on for a bit then go away. About 6months ago they came on and stayed on. When I got my oil changed I had...
IIRC:
You had stall issue at high OAT last summer. That replacing fuel pump corrected.
You also found some signs of intake vacuum leak.
I've been studying this issue in the VVT. The CAT pictured above was clogged, nothing cleared/clean it that...
I take my 100 series 4.7L 2UZ out on HWY and run them very hard intentionally. Some call this an "Italian tune-up", "carbon cook-off" or "burn out"
If raw fuel is dumping in CAT(s). Then yes, CAT can burns up at these high temps. But I've not...
I have asked Dissent for this for a few years, but I don't think they will bring it to mass market.
From what I have seen of the other vendors is that they would need to make a custom plate for the Dissent rack. The mounts I have seen only work...
One of my buds installed the new booster/reservoir that I purchased a few months ago. He has dealership tools for bleeding. Also, replaced the caliper bleeder valves with new OEMs. All new emergency brake cables (from handle to shoe) and...
I ordered a rad on july 2 with serra toyota decatur, received july 24.
Pretty decent packaging work, box in box, lot of bubble wrap. Their packaging is kind of dependent on the box staying upright, as not a lot of packaging on bottom. Feel i...
I would suggest CruiserTech in Laguna Hills. Cesar and his team have done a wonderful job taking care of my 100 series.
RPM Garage was my go to, but they have gotten crazy busy at the newer shop location. Plus it's a bit of a trek from OC to...
Cruiser89- I had the same issue with P0420 and P0430 for over a year on my 2005 LX470. I tried all kinds of recommendations from this wonderful Ih8mud site. I tried the gas cap seal, Catcleen, b&g fuel injector cleaner (using the pressure unit...
o2 don't go bad often, on their own. But happens, and usually just one. If two (Toyota Denso or Denso) go bad, something is more than likely taking them out, loading them up or it's the CAT. I always look to see if a reason, can be found. Such as...
I'm waiting for replacement Bank 2 Sensor 1 (Denso 234-9051) o2 sensor to arrive. I'm running a cheap amazon sensor at the moment, and bank 2 fuel trims are higer than bank 1. I'm gonna chalk this up to being a cheap sensor, and it should even...
You have 'studs' on the exhaust flange which is typical of Toyota's O2 sensor mounting process. (stud with nut). M8x 1.25 usually, and yes, it looks as if you are missing the gasket.
<continued from previous...>
Because there is no interference on the passenger side, I was able to use a flex-head socket wrench with the O2 removal socket:
The Denso sensors came with some anti-seize thread goo that I applied before...
