Took a snapshot at lunch just for you. Really hard to tell there's a body-lift going on especially in proportion to 35s. It's a big truck and the step out height is up there in AHC high. Glad to have a step slider. Ergonomics for usability...
My DHL Shipment from PartSouq to offer the longest factory bolt at a price that makes sense just emailed me and shows an estimated arrival date of 5/3. I ordered those on the 14th and they're usually quite quick, so hopefully they arrive sooner...
I want as many of these out in the world and the response has been wonderful, so I’m going to open up the intro pricing for 1” to 15 kits instead of just 10 and 1.5” to 10 kits instead of 5. The laser engraving will match that number.
Thank you...
Website is up, but don’t judge me. I know I need to improve it still and add a lot more & better photos. I just need to start somewhere.

Before I bought the LX, it was leaking oil at the plastic filter housing (only ever serviced at a Lexus dealership). I replaced it with a new Venza one and it doesn't leak after 45,000km. Would the leak have stopped if I had used a new plastic...
A commodity business would be one where all products are essentially the same. No differentiation between products from different sellers means price is the only relevant factor in making a purchase decision. I would say that does not describe...
Did you all go with the 133# Front Brake Caliper torque specs post conversion? Assume so given it’s now effectively 16+ on the fronts. Versus the 08-15 which I think were 75#s
sweet victory over the bearing. The feet on this puller would mar the mating surface. A few 2x4 cutoffs provided stability and enough softness to keep the aluminum shell unscathed.
This puller was ~$70CAD on Amazon...the slide hammer didn't...
If the system has more ground to make up, i.e. you request 68 degrees when it's 75 degrees in the truck, the fan speed increases. And any of the defrost settings default to high as well. I'm definitely in the camp of, just put it in auto and...
Best way is to just use the temp control buttons to adjust to what you want and let the computer sort it out. I use a CarPlay head unit which means it’s another step or two to get to the on-screen climate controls, but I don’t find myself...
Same brake pad part numbers for 08-15 and 16+
0446560280
Oddly I'm finding 0446560281 for 2019+ , but the parts show as interchangeable and I'm not certain as to what the difference on the newer part number is.
Glad to hear. You might consider asking the dealership to show you the existing damage so that you might mitigate rodent attractants in the future. Some folks have sprayed mint oils to repel rodents ( as an example, among other strategies).
Just heard back from our insurance appraiser and adjuster, it's totally covered under the comprehensive policy. Dealership is ordering the parts they need to get her back on the road soon. Total cost with parts and labor came out to $8225.
Disconnecting the negative terminal will slow the battery draining in my experience. YMMV. Tinder is the way to go if feasible but in the interim removing the negative helps significantly.
Additional notes…
I used two ways to lift the body. I don’t have a photograph, but I used a floor jack and lifted under the pinch seam and also lifted with the bottle Jack inside the fender wells, using a small piece of scrap metal to spread out...
