Have done all the research and pulled lots of overtime, and I think I am ready to swap a NV4500 in. It will be going behind a 350 out of a '89 chevy pickup. I don't want to pay like 2 grand for one. Is a pick and pull my best bet for finding one? Any other good sources to find them cheap...

my transfer case has sprung a leak where the v-8 crossmember bolts on. Are there any products that I can put over that (like a caulk) that would be a temporary solution? I suspect some of the threads are stripped... my buddy bolted it on for me and said they were 'tough' to get in there. I...

Have any of you found a sorta close match to the pewter gray on the instrument panel? I am looking to find a spraypaint to cover my jumpseats and will probably just end up repainting all the pewter stuff. If you have any experience with something that works, do share! Tell me where you got it...

If you aren't too bad at welding, I would think the CCOT steel panels are the way to go. There is a place in Canada that sells the same thing for cheaper, and that might be the way to go, but I haven't heard too much about the fit of their product. If its more than just panels, just get an...

OK, I think I got this bad boy figured out (again)... looked at the pics on Specter and it looks like the only component to my clutch that isn't 4-speed is the shift fork Mine is stamped, the other one looks different. Guess the PO left it there when he did the swap and I was too ignorant to...

I've got some pics of the situation if someone would let me know how to post those, I can't quite figure it out. They are JPG's under 90 KB so I am not quite sure what the problem is. I even changed them to GIF and tried Havin all kinds of troubles today, arg. :beer:Big Mike :beer:
