Re:Have square, but would prefer round fender signal lights for my FJ40..

I run round Signal/Stat turn signals for about $12.00 ea available at truck supply houses.

Need a body/chassis manual for 73FJ40

alright, 2nd try

I have one sitting in the "junk" pile at my parents house...but i am in CT and overnight shipping could be a BITCH. Call one of the more local cruiser vendors (Utah is closer than me) and see. I know cruiserparts.net will send airborne express or could do overnight fedex for you...

fj62 steering wheel(gray) and dash grab handle

I have one grey FJ62 steering wheel in good shape...it is slightly burnished around the outside because the dumb arse who sold me the colum let it roll around his truck on the way over...anyway it's yours for ?? i can get pictures if you would like.

From there the shipping would be over $50 overnight.. more than the part's worth! I plan on calling a local place after my calc final today :-\ We'll have to see how this one goes.

Studyin' and sippin' go hand in hand

FJ62 air filter canister

Ok, I got my canister and just wanted to let you know...

You might check SOR's website and get a pic of the FJ80 canister as it might work for your application. The FJ62 one was my first choice because it bolts directly to my fender.

Attention "non" North American listers

I need the A/C amplifier (that's the brain that controls the A/C system) for a '76 or similar year Toyota with factory A/C and diesel engine.

Re:Attention "non" North American listers

is that the rectangular box that is bolted under the dash with the 2 sliders on it? If so i might be able to dig one up from a wreckers.

Frame

I was in the process of a frame-off resto, and found that the frame I have has been wrecked. I am looking for anyone who might have a frame they would like to get rid of or sell who lives close to UT. If anyone has any info please let me know.

My cruiser is a 79. I believe a 74 - 83 frame will work. If anyone knows if a eariler model frame will work please let me know.

Thanks
Scott

Steering box

Hi. I know that it is reccomended to wait untill I do a power steering upgrade. I wont be doing that. I need a steering box which does not leak like mine does and for cheap. It is for my a 77 FJ40. Thanks

Steering box

Both seals will cost you less than ten bux from the dealer. The install is dead simple once you get the pitman arm off and then you just top the box up with gearlube.

I'm sure I could dig up a box if you really wanted one.

Re:Attention "non" North American listers

It's a circuit board that is mounted in a box attached to the evaporator housing usually (at least on the BJ60 and the FJ55). This box is about the size of a package of cigarettes. This will be used for the FJ55 but I'm assuming and hoping that it is the same as one would find on a BJ40 of a similar vintage. In other words, I'll take a BJ40 one if there is one available.
The FJ60 and the BJ60 use the same box and wiring harness with a different circuit board. My BJ60 one was a lucky find that I don't think will happen again (besides they are a different size from the FJ55).

Frame and Tub

I don't know if this will meet your needs or not but we parted out a very nice '79 BJ41 recently and the frame is for sale. It was just imported from Japan and was in very nice shape but the importer decided it was worth more money in parts than whole. ( The factory A/C and h41 went for big bux) Anyway the frame is still in my shop and still has nearly all its factory paint. It is right hand drive but if I was looking for a rebuilder that wouldn't be a show stopper for me. The price is $800 cdn

Steering box

It just seems from the FSM that you need 1000s of SST to rebuild it?
Thanks
