punky doors in need of help.

Hi all, get really good answers to questions on this site, well here it is: My two front doors (1979 BJ 40) have really punky bottoms ,about 4" on the bottom that need to be replaced. I have seen replacement bottoms from Texas Cruisers? and they look pretty good? any suggestions on this...

Tub re-building.... Yikes

To Buy or re-build, a Tub that is..... Well I chose to rebuild mine. Firstly " what a lot of work" saying that L/C rot out is an understatement. I Live on the west coast of Canada ( EH!!) and well let's say it rains... a Lot.. Anyways, if I had the cash I would of went to Kelona ( here in BC)...

Get to know your " Shipper /receiver real good" and stuff it into a shipping container And put it on one of Your Ships... Good luck

Sorry, already Sold it. Had been sitting for seven or eight years in a warehouse.... ( before I bought it) looked OK, but the guy never changed the oil before it was stored. Kinda scrary pretty hard on seals and bearings , so I have been told.... So a V8 was in order.

Hi all, and "many thanks" to all of you who sent me pictures of the V8 installs. This web site is excellent, just Tons of info with lots of people ( and pictures) with good ideas. Like I mentioned, I got a lakewood bellhousing ( for a case of beer!!??) and it was already attached to a L/C...

looking for v-8 engine swap photos.... any help would be greastly appreciated.
