The 81110-60P70 headlight and harness kit is the greatest Toyota parts deal in history. I've had a set installed forever but I snagged another set as a spare when I could get them from a stealership for $16.00!
Nice work as always- you are...
Got a Warn M8000-S, Warn offset hawse fairlead (106880) and Factor 55 Ultrahook (00250-04). Also, wired up the new Stedi 7" Type X foglights. And while I was at it, I installed the greatest deal in Toyota parts history, the 81110-60P70...
I did do this once (and was a bit nervous my first time). I met the seller at the bank that held the lien, which happened to be a local bank that he had gotten the loan through. I basically handed the money to the bank rep who “paid off” the lien...
Lot of crusty/rusty debris in the top radiator hose.
Got my rad off. Having it flow tested next week. Probably gonna order a water pump cuz I’m betting the pump is bad. If not I’m gonna replace it when I do the head gasket.
Definitely get GL4, I’ve used Redline MT90 in mine for the past 40k miles. Apparently there’s a Royal Purple gear oil that people really like in these R151’s too.
I'm pulling everything off right now. I kind of came to the same conclusion as you.
Interesting enough, the "Gregory's" aussie manual says to jam a prybar into the inspection port to stop up your flywheel ring gears.
😆
I've got a buddy coming...
Simple enough to remove the radiator and have a shop test it. If it needs replacing check out my build thread, there is a link to where to buy a replacement radiator.
Great truck for someone who has been looking for one. Not going to find a better truck from an honest Cruiser Head…Great job Nolan…someone will be very very happy.
You have a fuel delivery problem. It runs when you manually put fuel in (brake cleaner). Have you verified fuel at the injectors? IE: crack the nuts holding the injector lines to the injectors - to bleed the air from the system, but more...
I modified the bar that came on my truck and power coated it. It was the only well built part of the bar. The sides were made of thin, flimsy steel just like what you are looking at.
Just an FYI, those "bulbars" are for looks and are actually "damage enhancers" if you're involved in a very minor finger bender. Look for an ARB, TJM or Coastal Offroad real bulbar for real protection if that is your goal. I took off the side...
Hello 70's series Mudders! I've been living in the 60 series threads for a long time but dabble in the 40 and 100 series world too. I'm finally in the 70 series club!
I learned about LandCruiser Pickups like 30 years ago and instantly was my...
The USA is a mighty big place. The guy down the street from you may have two but doesn't want to ship something that big. Perhaps update your location from USA to your home town????
My 95 has the factory front to back rails and I would like a set of crossbars. Any recommendations other than gutter mount? I want to keep the stock look.
