So I did a thing today. I wasn’t a fan of how the hitch looked without the cover, so I made a cut out in the hitch cover panel and got some rubber trim to make it nice around the edges. It turned out really well, it actually looks a lot better in...
Just saw this morning that the bump in price was actually around $1300. I do not understand maganese luster for the OT. They could have offered the gray incognito from the GX. That would make me pause and rethink Earth.
Run some trails with @linuxgod this weekend as well as hitting Tin Cup pass on the way home after camping near Crested Butte:

Finally had a 22mpg trip. Drove the kids down to jiu Jitsu at 75mph, got 19.9. Drove back at 70, got the 22.2. Also took the roof top tent off this morning since I've got a 1200 mile road trip this weekend for a funeral.
~5000 total mileage
7400lbs dry.
Spent the day in the Smokey Mountains, too the Cherohala Skyway at the posted speed limit, no issues. Braking was spot on, and acceleration for days. Using an Anderson WD/Sway hitch.
I'm running Xpel Windshield Protection Film. It has saved my glass on multiple occasions now. Although it'll probably be more of a 12-18mo replacement cycle for me with the rocks and sand in CO.
My quips with the Lx600 were similar to @doktorno , though I'd figured out how to get rid of most of the safety nannies and adjusted my driving style to the odd throttle.
The 700hOT solves 80% of those. The safety nannies are present, but other...
After months of researching and asking tons of stupid questions, I finally pulled the string (do you pull the string or the trigger?) and got my wheels and tires. I went with the government issue Vossen HF6-4s in Matte Gunmetal and Nitto Terra...
All my vehicles are now ppf’ed and ceramic coated and it makes life a heck of a lot easier (for me). I never really did drive through car washes anyway as it’s quite easy to take care of something ceramic coated. I’ve also had bad experiences...
Yeah, it just really depends on your situation though as the 200’s around you and me are ridiculous priced and I think you can demand close to a dealer’s retail listing for a Heritage. Just have to actually do the legwork.
Yes, agreed but...
Hey guys. It’s been crazy busy with events but finally finding the time for a build thread. I am super excited about this one and we already have put 9k miles since the build.
This is the first ever lx700h on 74weld portals!
Here is a list...
I’d assume you’d make more by selling private as the HE’s still command a premium. You’d probably be around $80k privately and would need a $75k trade in offer to financially break even.
I appreciate the feedback and I’ll explain why we do not currently ship.
The main reason is installation. This is a very complicated installation with a lot of tech. Almost every installation we do we run into something different. We are...
Eh
thanks for the kind words on the front bumper. It is also worth noting we offer a higher clearance one as well. As for the sliders. I would agree, typically body mounted and slider shouldn’t be used in the same sentence and we need to do...
Dear Toyota North America,
Despite the 250 series selling better than basically all years combined, indicating that America customers are in fact okay with a lighter duty platform, a small group of enthusiast on the internet think you wrong...
Utilizing the 110v power outlet we were able to run the fridge, by way of 1000wh Jackery, for 8 days straight without issue. Had I had a good way to mount the Starlink Mini to the 300, the power outlet would have kept the battery charged enough...
