About as much as my wife will let me mod the LX right now. Titan-7 forged wheels T-AK2’s +35 reusing the factory Toyo AT III tires. Normally it’s on N height but jacked it to H2 for the pic.
I love my Earth because it’s unique and so un-Lexus like. I’ve already been asked a handful of times if it was a custom painted already, but Nori was a close second choice when I looked.
Sure, it’s not ideal but we’ve done a few local trips with it and haven’t maxed out the cargo area yet. Even had a Yeti 45 on one trip for 5 of us and it worked out. Might be harder if someone overpacks or hardcore camps but we love the OT so far and hope more of ya join the club.
For those waiting for a 2 row, I’m curious as to the why chance the tariff that will surely hit. Granted they say it’s slightly less MSRP wise because of the 3rd row deletion, but will it not be silly to be paying more for a 2 row once prices are adjusted with tariffs or inflation? Just...
It’s good to know about the towing. Sometimes I trailer the M3 to track and the TRX does just fine with almost 6000 lbs. Was thinking of using the LX but this kind of feedback makes me rethink that haha.
Well, I don’t believe they’ll have to deal with customs if it’s on the vehicle. And the shipper/owner will have to handle that themselves if it happens. I know it sucks, but might be good to have your rig sent to them to get it done properly, if you’re going for their system.
I’ve never leased in Texas before but I would assume if you’re the original lessee and bought it at lease end, you could prove/show you’ve paid the taxes already.
When doing a lease and buying it at lease end, you end up paying a bit more than just financing it from the get go. The LX probably will have a terrible money factor and you pay tax for the whole MSRP upfront on a lease in Texas. In other states, they tax you based off your monthly but not here.
I mean, I don’t see anything wrong with their response. It’s a small USA based shop that only wants to deal with shipping to US addresses. Shipping international is a pain and we’re not talking small objects here.
