Fusion can absolutely do FEA. FEA for a trailer ramp seems a little excessive, but it can  Can you just quickly zap some 2x10’s or 2x12’s for the tires to drive over into it for this trip? Maybe while the door is forced straighter and...

FEA? Are the ramp designs that you are considering indeterminant? Are you concerned with fatigue life due to weight restrictions and the number of loading cycles? .... At work, we used CATIA to design and solid model every part of the...

For the cars yeah. Moonshine, maybe. It's not a short climb to get in. This is a multipurpose trailer!

Help me design a new ramp door and I will! You have software that'll do FEA? I can draw it in fusion, but I want to test it digitally before I do.

Do an inspection of the lines at least. Despite the new parts you've put on recently, if the compressor s*** itself and put material into the lines, putting a new compressor on won't fix all the issues. I'd say flush the system at a minimum...

Yeah at this point I've replaced the condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, and drier(2x), in the past few months. And every O-ring. Replaced the high pressure discharge hose in high school with an oem Toyota one. I'd bought the denso...

Just replace the whole thing man, compressor with clutch. Even if you use a cheap unit from rock auto, it'll work for a few years. It would be best if you replaced the expansion valve/orifice tube and flush as well, but do it. I put a whole kit...

Not sure I'm gonna make it yet. Hopeful, but not sure. Reason: the ramp door isn't gonna last another moonshine trip. I can hardly get it closed now because of how curved it has become. Im not confident I can get it rebuilt in time for fall...

Great turn out last night. I believe we had about 12 or 13 people show up. Thanks for joining @Sargy and @DirtehHippeh. I'll see most of you at Logan's Run in a few weeks. I will be out of town in October, but the meeting is still on.

you are right, the SF axle is alot bigger where is see's shear and torsion forces, so especially off-road where the axle see's impact's/large shear forces the FF could definably be stronger. It wouldn't be to hard to calculate lol. For me...

You may have noticed in the last post the FF rear axle. I swapped the semi float out when I did the regear with hj61 FF axle!

Every winch I own runs 75-80% of max....less potential problems when it sideloads, and better pulling power. Extensions are easy to pack and re-wrap, plus they can double as a replacement line. I carry one 50' and one 30' extension, more useful...

I finally got some time to start taking what I need off that 80 series. We pulled the complete front axle off and it is indeed what I was hoping for : fitted with electric lockers ! PERFECT !!!!!🥳 As you can see, it is very dirty. I will...

A friend came by today and gave me a brand new pair of OEM Toyota tailgate latches. I'm happy about that score. I'll figure out a way to make them work.

The parts I'm waiting for will take an estimated20 to 30 days to get to me. I figured I might as well get some stuff done in stead of sitting around . So, today, I got quite a bit done. I finished setting up the fuel tank. I installed the...

I kept meaning to reach out and send you the photo I took of your pupper. I didn't get to use it in Trails for the Relic Run article, but thought you should get to see it.
