In the winter I need to leave the choke on (at least a little) for a long while due to the header. The fluid heat riser does help but the engine needs to have some heat in the coolant to work.
Last weekend I saw about a dozen lifted trucks with the LED light rings around the wheels, little tiny tires, and big ass rims. My wife was laughing her ass off, asking why the hell they even have trucks, it's obvious they never get used for...
Drove through the bitterroot last Sunday- no smoke. Did a mtn ride down in Sula, lots of fun. Guess I got lucky.
Cruiser Content- spotted four ‘40’s between Missoula and Salmon. Bitterroot never r disappoints. The one in Salmon had some sweet...
We had a great dinner, Shannon made quesadillas, then the rain showed up and we hung out in the tent, here is a picture of Charlie passed out while I finished an adult beverage or two and watched the lightning show. The amber color of that photo...
This weekend was great, I got to put the cruiser through its first test. We loaded up and drove it right back to where I was in April when the crankshaft snapped. We loaded up for a quick one night trip, and drove out to the mountains to take...
I've put about 200-250 miles on the swap so far and things are great. A/C is cool, the engine is running great. Today we went to a few appointments and ran some errands and the cruiser did great. We stopped by Cruiser Heaven in Hagerstown (since...
Well those knock sensors fixed it. Both Knock sensor codes are gone, so I am happy with that. The new O2 sensors are installed, I am not sure they really changed anything, but Its probably best to have a matched set and new ones should work well...
Time is once again scarce, I just got back from a work trip that turned into two trips…. Unfortunately I was stuck in Hawaii for 10days …rough life. Didn’t see @Aloha Jen & her 60 cruising around anywhere 🤷🏻♂️.
I was able to come home for...
My Saginaw box is mounted out front, I REALLY like the way your steering gear box is mounted in the engine compartment. Had I more youthful motivation and energy, I would do something along this line. On the other hand, @Jdc1 absolutely...
Thanks guys, I appreciate the input, glad I'm not alone. I know the directions were oddly specific and vague enough to give me a good starting point as I bolted it together....The pedal feel, travel, and function. (friction point) all feel good...
Great work duder.
Yep, same noise on mine. Idk how well I adjusted my bearing to be honest, it's been working fine for this long so it's on the back burner currently.
Great job man! You made quick work of that LS swap.
My throw out bearing makes the same noise, I think I need to adjust the collar on the marks adapter out some more so there’s constant pressure on it. My exhaust is also run underneath the...
I took the wife and dog on a quick ice cream trip last night. So far so good:
• the A/C is running good for now, I’ll keep an eye on it.
• The throw out bearing is making a little noise when engaging the clutch pedal, but it feels correct. I...
