Heres the final product, I am planning to find some black hose clamps or something, since there are so many in a short run, but I was able to use a 3.75" elbow fromt he throttle body to the MAF, then a step up coupler from the MAF, up to 4" to a...
Today I re wrapped the main wiring harness back up and put the interior back together. I put my old dash in for now, but plan to swap it out with one I bought that isn't cracked (I haven't picked it up yet). Kick pannels and glove box all back...
The other day I bit the bullet and paid $43 at the local Chevrolet dealer for the OEM fuel injector seal kit. I figure that’s cheaper than the vehicle catching on fire….
Replaced them, then bleed the coolant system… And by bleed the system I...
Well, today was successful! The house A/C froze over again today….i know I’m on borrowed time, going to add some Freon to it tomorrow. I sliced my fingers on the air filter (of all things) trying to remove it & thaw things out…..
After work...
Thanks man. Yea all the pictures I didn’t take are the cruise control wiring I haven’t connected yet. I ran them through the firewall & they are sitting under the pedals currently. Below is my to-do list, gonna get things running first, then hook...
Looking back over the above pictures, the plastic wire loom & the cloth wire wrap look more contrasting or janky in the pictures, once I get things done I’ll decide whether it’s worth it or not to make things consistent….really it will just be...
Been a long productive weekend here, and I am getting really close.
I got the charcoal canister & Evap purge solenoid mounted… canister mounting is probably the one temp thing I’ve done so far. I just zip tied it in the fender, but plan to use...
Sweet, thats kinda what I was thinking, I wanted to add the junction block so the Landcruiser wiring stays as original as possible, and it will help me use the LS Battery cable (+), Starter Cable, Ground battery (-), and the GM Junction block...
that's what I did on my 62 to make room for my turbo intake, I just mounted a junction block down low under where the battery tray would have been and ran a cable under the radiator to the battery.
While I was out fishing plenty of goodies came in! I got my charcoal canister, programmed PCM arrived, fusible links arrived after being rebuilt by @Coolerman …now it’s time to get to it & get this thing running!
Really impressed with the...

The past week has been very productive, I have knocked out a lot of little things. I cut the fuel line to length and tightened it down for the last time, I put some heat loom on it to keep it cool.
I finished the exhaust, I put one flex joint...
Is the zip tie gun semi or full auto? I think you need to do the SBP tax stamp form 1 to have one, thats why I always just use wire cutters and cut my zip ties off at a 45° angle to ensure maximum pain....
@rkymtnflyfisher Well, I am...
I worked at a fish hatchery in Alaska after college. We harvested and grew Salmon. All...day...long... Nobody wanted to eat salmon when you've been standing in it, killing it, bucking it, and trashing it all day long.
So, my buddy and I would...
My 17 yo is crazy about all things fishing. He is spending his summer getting his PPL, working at the local Bait and tackle store, and deck handing for offshore trips. He has been saving money for about 2 years now. My wife and I pitched in to...
I always carried a collapsed rod in the cargo hold of the Bell 206L4 Jet Ranger on the forest fires in the north west. Very peaceful . When offshore I lived two weeks at a time on a rig 123 miles offshore in 180' water. Had an Ugly Stick with...
I'm on day 3 of a 26 day stretch of some awesome things. Rumor has it there's a 6 day, 60 miles float through some of the most remote wilderness in the lower 48 happening sometime soon. Then there's just the normal daily fishing, and driving...
