I have had 275/70-18 Toyo RT Trails on my 1958 since day two. I look at it like you, with the addition of it is far nicer to drive than my ‘19 Tundra Platinum was, and gets double the fuel economy. It’s also WAY better offroad.

Here is how I think of it. It’s not a hybrid, at least how you are thinking of it. It’s a gas engine with an electric motor for some extra torque and HP. Helps with responsiveness, etc. But its not a hybrid, like a Prius or something.

Had this for years on my 1980 FJ40. Can't remember the model, but its 14" diameter and has the horn wiring on the mounting kit. goo in the center piece is just glue from a logo I had glued on there that I want to keep.
