It's a September '69 build but I believe the VIN dated to 1970. The title shows 1970 as well IIRC. Lots of transitional parts on it which make it unique.
I probably mis-layed blame with that statement. The mix ratio the paint rep told us to use was incorrect. So it didn’t harden as much as it should have. My friend was more familiar with 2 stage and so couldn’t call bs.

In return, I'll have to steal the idea of using a chain sprocket on the rotation point as a nice and simple pin lock. Mine was just all homebrew with a lock screw, but a pin seems a bit easier to finagle.
One minor trick, if you're also doing paint - use longer bolts and then use like a 2" stub of small pipe as a spacer. Just gives a little more access and clearance by keeping the arms offset from the tub a bit.
