I have had my IMS 2.5 for about 4-5 yrs now, done a few 2-3k miles trip on highway, a few trips to the Rubicon, etc. I really love the ride. Its soft, comfortable, and handle 4lo type crawling well. Would do it all over again.

Drove to Reno to play golf and dispersed camping. The weather reached 101 and the ECT stayed under 200 on the mountain passes but the IAT was 145 at the highest. I see a stainless dorkel in the near future!

Yes, they ride and drive very well. 2 are on stock shocks, one on the dobinson yellow gas shocks, and I will be doing another one next week that has an OME 2.5" lift. We are going to try the dobinson stock springs out with the ome shocks and see...

Extracting is a breeze, just make sure you have constant vacuum applied and just sit and watch the process. I happened to overfill my oil so extracting makes it convenient without having to open the drain plug and make a mess. This applies to...

Good insight here. To clarify your comment on your customers trucks on Dobinson's stock height springs, are you saying those trucks ride well? My understanding is that the Dob stock height actually yield a bit of lift. Maybe it's mild enough...

How do you like extracting (assuming thats what I see here) vs draining?

Yes. They pop right off. There is a metal plate that hooks into the window channel. They won't really go anywhere even if you slam the door or bump them. they are sold for the 70 series, so you have to drill new holes in the plate.

How are they attached? Is it something that could easily come on and off?

She had a quiet couple of days, starter finally took a dump. Put in a new Denso today and she lives again.

I believe you can't buy just the seal from Toyota. OP stated he found that the seal is bonded to the glass so you have to pay for the whole enchilada.
