I took the transmission down. I forgot/didn’t understood change the input axle seal when everything was open. 🤦🏻♂️ That chinese cheap motocross bike lift was a big help. So tight to get off, maybe easier with the bellhousing? 3B and H41 here.

Did you move the diff fill plug up when you pointed the pinion up towards the transfer case? Because if you didn't, the pinion bearing won't get much if any gear lube, and it needs to run in gear lube.

Assembly and lubrication
I applied grease to the shaft, the small cogs, the sides of the wheels, and a very light coating on the metal discs (just rubbed it with greasy fingers) Not sure about the wisdom of that - time will tell if I over did...

Why you want mineral oil so badly? Just use synthetic, change the oil & filter couple times sooner than normal if you afraid it would clean engine too well.
