1.75++ is quite high, given your setup. You are close to A pillar which is kinda not best but shouldn't be that badly reflected.
Thought about a narrow bandwidth and gmrs centered antenna instead?
Makes sense. Again my calculations (done with the KPI) put my offset at +8mm for 33" tires, which is quite doable. I only offset my wheels like this to bring steering geometry back to OE (of course).
I can't stand the poke/stance otherwise.
Very very interesting. Was the rock warrior with 10mm delta specifically for that 33"? Taller? Your logic makes sense, just seems crazy for a 35+.
I need to go back and search the exact KPI.
Spacers don't add any stress to the vehicle that isn't also added with a similar offset aftermarket wheel.
There is the added opportunity for failure with an additional interface surface and a second set of lugs that can be improperly torqued...
How do you calculate a 25mm offset difference. In my own calculations from the kingpin inclination angle, I get about 8mm adjustment for 33” tire. That should properly account for KPI, scrub, and the Ackerman angle for steering geometry.
I just got back from Colorado where I took my stock 2019 LC with Defender LT and they performed superbly on both Cinnamon Pass and Engineer Pass on the Alpine Loop. There were a couple of spots going up Engineer Pass from Silverton that I didn't...
I'm about a year into a new set of Defender 2s on my tundra in 295/70/18 size. I had the same Defender in a P275/60/18 prior. One thing I noticed is that the LT version is worse on snow and ice. I expected them to be very similar, but it was a...
