I know this has been discussed at nauseum, but reading the official site it says i can get all these from a local dealer? i thought they where all special order or not available in the USA. Am I still confused on this?

I "think" it is both. You can get it through your local Toyota dealer but they will probably have to order it.

While it needs to be converted your link includes a suggested retail price. Find out what that is and what it will cost here explains why not everybody is fond of the program. 17401-61090 is listed at under $450 when converted to dollars. By the time you are able to get it here it will be at least $1K.
No, you can not get them thru a dealer in the US. Local dealer is local in Japan. Not sure all dealers are in the program and know of none willing to ship to the US.

Well, they can keep their parts. We have better food and I can eat it faster and easier with a fork and spoon instead of chopsticks, which I can also use but a fork and spoon are way better.
Looks like the hood insulator is going to be produced by the Heritage Program starting in late 2026. That's sweet.

What a fun video. It's certainly a great exercise for them to assess the parts situation. I'm curious where / how they sourced many of the parts used in the build, as what's come through the Heritage Program is a drop in the bucket, and even that's inaccessible to most customers.

Just watched this video with great interest. Really surprised by how hard it was to reproduce the hood insulation. After all, the insulation for FJ60 is still available. One would think the supplier would be the same, but apparently that's not the case. On a separate note, hood insulation for Jeep CJ's of similar vintage are still available, even though the company that made the vehicles is long gone.
Not all parts they build internally or work with partners to reproduce will make it to the GRH program. We were able to meet with the Toyota team rebuilding these and GRH parts in Japan, very neat program and more of an HR exercise than a true parts or restoration endeavor but neat either way.
