Picked up a couple alternators from the dealer, and rebuilding a power steering pump. Forgot to order a new shaft bearing so will have to finish it up tomorrow.
Got some reduction gears from @swamp-thing. Getting ready to go to 10 under on high, 3.1:1 and part time kit. My vicious coupling is starting to lock up after long highways drives and makes my 80 sound like a jalopy when I pull into gas stations...
Looks like an I-beam. Just bear in mind that rafters and joists aren’t designed for hanging loads. That’s why simple things like chandeliers are cross braced between joists.
I'm not sure, I didn't have any sticky buttons. But the mechanism is pretty simple so I imagine you could clean it out pretty well if you had something sticky in there -
Its been great, easy of use, can also use BaoFeng handheld to tune into your channel. The only downside is more ppl are using it now and there are limited channels (1-18)? so lots of interference on the highway, but that goes for CB as well.
