I'm not a fan of where this headed, but ....are you taking these pictures or are they being supplied to you? In your last post the pictures are absolutely correct for a 25, that is a 25 VIN plate and the frame and motor number indicate a 1960...

So that engine would have been used around 1959-60. Here is the plate from 2 of the Fj25’s I bought. Both were 60 models stamper in 1961.

I agree. I think someone cut the vin stamping from a 25 welded it to a 40 frame.
