changed tranny, transfer case, and differential fluids and I’m now able to shift thru all the gears. Went with the Penn Grade GL4 80-90 weight for the trans and xfer case. Definitely needed it. Thanx for the advice.

Man, it was good to see you last night. Dave helped me sort out some electrical gauge issues in my 74 series. Good times.

These VM engines are horrible , don’t waste time or money trying to fix them but decide which engine you will replace it with instead .

All photo time line goes in order, I will be driving as is for now with my 200whp tune. Meanwhile I’m looking for transmission solution. Or I will keep it as 200whp, anything more than 200 will break the gear box.

After this was done I started on bolting up the bracket that holds the compressor and I did had to grind a bit off one off the spacers to get all the mounting holes to line up perfectly , pretty simple to see once you hold it next to the engine...

Mystery solved! It was the gasket around the dipstick tube 😅 Much relieved. Although I found a new project after cleaning the engine looks like I’m getting some oil coming from my intake gaskets too, would that be from the turbo? I already did...

Hola amigo. Aqui tienes el manual para el VM motor. Tengo mas info si lo necesitas ... manuales de carroceria, etc. Tbn tengo un Bj73, pero mi motor VM se murio. Ahora actualmente estoy instalando motor 1KZ-T
