Can't help you with the fuel lines, but that sure is one purdy F.5. I hope that mine cleans up as well! :wrench::wrench::wrench:
I just printed out a copy of your engine pic. I'll pin it up in my 40 for motivation.
That sounds like it is just the water jacket that the coolant runs through. I bet that you'll be fine (though I'd flush the block and rad before running it).
Thanks again. I don't know how I would have pulled the truck up onto a higher trailer w/o hurting myself. That really is a great set up - the purpose-built straps and tie downs made securing the load a snap and the load did not shift at all (way better than chains IMO).
I drove slowly and carefully. I am sure that I pissed off lots of folks on the road due to my slow driving. The cruiser did pretty well on the flats, but it was very painful going uphill. It was raining quite a bit and I did 45-55 most of the time and about 30-35 on the hills :crybaby:
The 40 is home now
I picked up the 40 from Bandera yesterday. It took a little creative winching and a redneck pulley system to get it into the driveway, but it is here safe and sound.
I've already started on the body work ... ;)
Thanks W.L. (Lake Rat) for letting me use your sweet car...
