I know what they're for, but I couldn't find the actual definition. IE: Have a mechanic on me? Help a Member One Month? Hefty Adults Managing One Moron?

That said, I need one. I have an axle rebuild, bumper install, etc.

And yes, I searched.

Help A Member Out Meeting.

Are you looking to host a HAMOM or are you looking to participate in one?

I fear that my little driveway wouldn't be suitable for more than 1 vehicle. I'm happy to help coordinate, bring tools, beer, food, etc..but the location is tough.

A HAMOM can be to help just one truck! If you want to host a HAMOM at your house to work on your truck, and your truck only, that's just fine!

There's no real formal structure to HAMOMs, nor is there a "required format". It's essentially a good excuse for a bunch of guys to come over to someone's house and help them work on their truck.

Read some of the previous threads. There were MEGA-HAMOMs where three or more trucks were being worked on at once, as well as regular HAMOMs where there was only one truck being worked on.

Well, technically perhaps being a paid up ONSC member is required? Ya know, as suggested by the acronym definition itself.

I meant that there's no required format to the HAMOM event itself. I would expect that anyone who is receiving help on their truck would be a current ONSC member.

Yep. :) But that bumper that he has is heavy. And it needs to be lifted waaaaay up there. Then he's gonna want help getting the spare mounted to it. Lets suspend his membership until he gets somebody else to do all that. Can I get an amen, brothers and sisters? :hillbilly:

Yep - got the lugnuts ready.

I can tell you this, I'm gettin old, the tire carrier on Heather's 80 will be a swing down mounted to a swing out arm. I am over lifting heavy tires that far in the air.

Axles will be 30 minutes and bumper will be an hour. That adds up to a LOT of beer for the rest of the day. I'm in. :D

We aren't talking Mich Ultra and Coors Light are we?

I would like to come by to watch and look over the ride you are working on.

:flipoff2:I thought all you needed to install a bumper was 2 hands????

I kid, I kid. Taking my front bumper off and on multiple times with winch installed was a good fun time.

I shall pester my tuner then schedule said HAMOM.

So we're talking after the holidays here? :hillbilly:

Beer shall be plentiful!
