Wow you guys believe that yard decorations ( raggidy Ann and Andy) were stolen from yard in Christmas tree lane , they've been on display for 50 years!

Just wanted to post this up but anyone looking for a new car or truck please BUY A FORD. I have always been a GM guy but after what I read today I will never buy another new GM product. GM is going to spend $540 million building a new engine plant in Mexico. So they took taxpayer money to save their asses and bonuses then once the dust settled they are shipping more jobs south. Imagine the impact a factory would have in someplace like the Central Valley. From the construction, jobs at distributors, truck driving jobs transporting materials to build it then shipping finished good. Then the trickle down...the boost to local restaurants, gas stations, stores. Imagine the taxes it would pump into things...from the property taxes, sales taxes and income taxes from all the jobs created. Obama was a fool to not put some clause into the bailout that would require them to stop exporting jobs. This is exactly the thing our economy needs to come back...we need manufacturing. American wealth and the middle class came pouring out of assembly lines as much as the cars, planes and other goods we used to build here. The phrase Buy American no longer applies to General Motors products, their executives do not care about America. They only look for the bottom line, and they are willing to sacrifice American jobs before they drive themselves home in Mercedes, Porches and Lexus's.

Lol I know what your saying bill, but you have to see the humor in what you posted ," buy American" posted on a toyota site , by a Toyota owner.....

You are right though they borrow billions to save their ass , then take more money ( jobs ) out of the us,

And that's only one problem. Unless the unions can be brought under control and our wage scale be more competitive with the world economy along with getting China to revalue their currency to the proper level, the U.S. and its states will forever be indebted to foreign investors.

This is the solution to a lot.

The other obstical is the cost of building a new facility anywhere in the USA.

Cruisers spotted

Anyone know my neighbor? I took a different way home the other day and spotted these two 60s at a house nearby.

The one on the right looks like a parts rig, as the RH front is smashed. The license plate on the LH one is from Wisconsin, Woody's land!

I'll try to see if I can drive by when someone's out, but it's not a through street and the neighbors tend to look at you funny if you're a stranger.

Hey, has anyone seen these yet...look pretty cool.

Triple Sticks

Just an update...I am finally back to work full time as the new Shipping/Receiving manager at Harley-Davidson of Sacramento. Thanks for all the wishes and prayers

These were from a farmer in northern California who got busted by DEA.I now own the parts rig.The other rig was for sale and I do not know he if still has it..These guy was not the farmer.

Cool! Neither of them was there when I drove by a couple weeks ago. One of them is at your place, though. ;)

Yes I have part of one. This guy has another one that he is building that is the reason he bought these because the farmer that had them some neat parts like new warn winch, arb front bumper, lift kits, etc

More cruiser sightings

Sunday I saw what I believe was an HJ47 heading East on 198 near Farmersville. It was RH drive, troopy, with no top, assuming it was diesel. Anybody have any other info?

Saw a yellow FJ40 in Visalia the other day, then there was an 80 with spare tire on the back turning onto Akers when I was coming home today. Later an FJ60 was behind me until it turned in to Costco.

Fun to see so many around, and seriously wondering about that imported Troopy.

Yea 80 rhd, very clean ( if he's reading , it's only 4 wires!) I met him at dans house sat...

You mean this one?

LOL

When he was done, nothing worked. Nothing as in not even the dash lights. LOL

I completely redid it in about 45 minutes and that included installing the cable protective sleeve and routing through the frame, around the fuel tank, etc. LOL Yes it was dark.

Cool, that's the one. So this is a local guy with an imported rig? I saw that thread earlier, but I think I missed the pictures of the rest of the truck.
