I've often thought that size on +30 to +35 would be just about maxed out with the least amount of hassle needed to make them fit.

BFG KO3's
I am 100% in. These are the best wheels for the 100 series that I’ve found and am so pumped to get them on the truck!!! They solve every niche problem concerning aftermarket rims on these trucks, not to mention the outstanding strength, weight, and clean look! Let’s support Dustin as a community and make it happen!Hi IH8Mud,
My name is Dustin, my company is FN Wheels, and for the better part of two decades we've been making wheels for Toyota trucks and SUVs.
As some of you know we've made a couple of 17" models specifically to fit 100 series Landcruisers, and for those who weren't aware please allow me elaborate.
FN Wheels Five Star and FN Wheels Six Shooter Flow Formed (100 Series Spec)
Diameter: 17″
Width: 8″
Offset: +30mm
Backspacing: 5.68″
Bolt pattern (PCD): 5x150mm
Center bore: 110.2mm (Toyota hub centric)
Stud opening: 16.2mm diameter (accepts extended thread aka “ET” lug nuts for maximum stud engagement on short, OEM Toyota wheel studs)
Load rating: 2,500lbs+ per wheel
Wheel weight: 22lbs (approximate) Five Star / 24lbs (approximate) Six Shooter
Manufacturing details: Flow formed from high purity A356-T6 aluminum alloy
Certification: DOT, JWL-T, VIA, and SAE J-2530 approved (SAE J-2530 is an extremely stringent, voluntary testing standard that is stricter than DOT, JWL-T, and other governmental testing standards).
Additional features: Knurled bead seats for enhanced bead retention at low psi. Reinforced inner and outer lips/flanges for increased strength and rigidity.

What makes these wheels 100 series specific?
To date we have produced the 17x8" Five Stars in matte black and matte gunmetal, but going forward we plan to only produce matte gunmetal regularly and matte black semi-regularly. We have manufactured prototypes of the Six Shooters in 17x8" +30 5x150 with the taller cap, but full production runs of the Six Shooters have only been made in the 17x9" +25 5x150 "flat cap" version for the Landcruiser 200/LX 570, Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra. We can produce the 17x8" +30 5x150 LC100 version of the Six Shooter at anytime if we have enough demand from our 100 series customers.
- We're not shoehorning a Tundra wheel onto the Landcruiser 100. The rim width and offset (ET) optimized for the Landcruiser 100.
- 17x8" +30mm offset allows for proper suspension travel and articulation with larger tires.
- This fitment is akin to adding a 1.25" wheel spacer to the OEM wheels, but without the spacers of course.
- Center cap designed to fit over the tall Landcruiser 100 hubs/axles.
- The center cap fits without the use of wheel spacers and without the need to machine center bores. You do not have to go "cap-less" with these wheels.
- 110mm hub centric center bore so that the wheel seats properly on the hub.
- Lug holes / stud openings drilled to accept M14x1.5 ET shank lug nuts for maximum stud engagement with short, OEM Toyota wheels.
What is the purpose of this post?
Multiple IH8Mud members (and self professed IH8Mud forum "lurkers") have asked me to start a thread to gauge interest in getting a production run going for matte black, matte bronze or other finishes as well as a production run of Six Shooters.
Our factory production minimum (MOQ) is 48 wheels per part number. I.e. in order to go through the process of making the wheels, at least 48 wheels must have the same diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, color, clear coat and center cap configuration. Given that the 100 series is becoming more of a rarity, and also given that these wheels are very specific to just the 100 series, we aren't producing them as frequently. I'd like to humbly present this opportunity for a group buy to get a new production run going in different colors that we don't currently keep in stock. Normally we don't do group buys, but I feel like this is a good opportunity to produce the exact wheels that some of you guys have been asking for.
Our lead time is 12-16 weeks from the date we send the order to our factory. We have not yet increased our pricing for 2025, which in light of the ongoing tariff situation reflects a discount. However, if we can get enough pre-orders (pre-payments or deposits) to make a special production run I will provide a discount off the current price of $224.75 per wheel + shipping. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to offer this deal, but for now I want to be as aggressive as possible with the pricing so that we can hopefully get this going sooner than later for everyone who has been inquiring.
These are some of the requests that I have received thus far:
All of these wheels would be 100-series specific with the taller center cap.
- FN Wheels Five Star Flow Formed : 17x8" +30mm 5x150 in matte black
- FN Wheels Five Star Flow Formed : 17x8" +30mm 5x150 in matte bronze
- FN Wheels Six Shooter Flow Formed : 17x8" +30mm 5x150 in gunmetal (either normal, light, or dark gunmetal with either a matte or gloss clear coat)
- FN Wheels Six Shooter Flow Formed : 17x8" +30mm 5x150 in matte bronze

P.S. I realize that my screen name doesn't have the "Supporting Vendor" label. I've been in touch with @woody , and he gave me the OK to post as a vendor. He and I had worked out a deal many years ago for a set of Six Shooters.![]()
I don't take many pictures in general, next time I take a decent one i'll post it. I'm not a suspension expert, but maybe non AHC 100's have less 12 o clock rubbing because of the higher spring rate. Regarding the pinch weld, I'm running max caster, which pushes the tire back towards the pinch weld if I remember right. Maybe I could have gotten away with lowering the caster half a degree instead of doing the pinch weld mod, i'm not sure. With that being said with my max caster I still had a major rub on my windshield washer reservoir cover reversing out of parking spots and my driveway, if I did lower my caster, that would rub more. I also recently relocated my washer bottle.Post pics!

TLDR, my issue 12 o clock rub might be AHC specific and my pinch weld rub might be from running high caster. The windshield reservoir rub probably is just a bigger tire issue.
Here's a picture of my 34's the day I got them. I take off my center caps before going to tire stores. I put them back right after I took this picture.FWIW my tires spec at 34.5x11.4, similar to your 285/75’s but a half inch taller. I’m on AHC, +31 and max caster so nearly identical. I had to pinch weld it and I have a 1/2” BL that allows the tires to clear the washer reservoir and help out at 12:00. I still get the smallest amount of rub at 12:00 when the front compresses hard, recently installed Perry Parts bumps to hopefully alleviate that without sacrificing travel.
These look really good, and I like that the offset would make my current spacers unnecessary. I'm not quite ready to order yet (tires are too expensive not to have your alignment and suspension on point when you buy new ones, and I'm middle of big rehab there, plus about half through my current tires), but will get there soon. I could go 5 or 6 spoke, both look good to me. Gunmetal would be fine, but I've had black wheels and silver on my truck so far and might lean bronze color.Thank you @Zuberg and @trdcorolla for the kind words and for posting pictures of your Landcruisers. I truly appreciate you guys.
To everyone who's shown interest, here's where we are at as of May 12, 2025:
@jaewastooshort
- Our stock on hand is starting to thin out for the 17x8" +30mm 5x150 Five Stars in matte gunmetal, but we have a few sets currently left in stock. Thank you to all who ordered.
- I have a few calls in from customers who are not forum members that have shown interest in the 17x8" +30mm 5x150 FN Five Star flow formed in matte black.
- The following IH8Mud members are interested in the 17x8" +30mm 5x150 FN Five Star flow formed in matte bronze:
@excessive
@Super77 (tentative)
We're looking for a total of 6-8 firm commitments (i.e. pre-orders or deposits) so that we can get the order going for matte bronze or matte black. If you're interested in ordering a set in matte black or matte bronze please consider helping us spread the word so that we can get the special order going for you guys.
- We've received calls, emails and messages from customers who have shown interest in the Six Shooters in 17x8" +30mm 5x150, but no consensus on a color/finish yet.
Thanks everyone!

Edit - NVM. Sounds like the 5star list is the growing one and in my color. So @FNWheels add me to the preorder list for matte bronze 5x150/+30 in bronze - I need 5.
If you need another to add to the group order on the 5 stars, I'd join in the fun.
You should DM him your email and delete it from your post, as per the recent scammer thread on here.Based on your reply, I'm in. 5-spoke is my preference but if the trend is toward 6 (more likely to fulfill) I'd go that way. Let me know how to place a deposit. Wanting 5 wheels in bronze.
... If everyone on this list is willing to leave a deposit for four or five wheels, I would just ask for one more customer. We will then fill in the remaining MOQ for wheels to keep for stock on hand and get the order off to our manufacturer right away.
Really hoping this would mean we can go forward... @FNWheels, how can we put up the deposit?Apparently I missed this post, and the deadline, but I might be willing to participate for one of my vehicles…
My dream of 285/70R17 load-range C, might be realized
If it works out well, I may be in for 2 more sets.

Thank you. Just let me know if there's anything I can do for you. If you need something faster, I have a couple of sets of matte gunmetal in stock now. In just a moment I will post an update with an ETA, but I think it might possible be too long of a wait for you.I've been going back and forth in my head on this since the first post, but I'm leaning toward putting my name on the list as well. This is absolutely the style of wheel I've wanted to put on the LX.
It might depend on what the ETA actually looks like for 5x of the Five Star in Bronze. I don't know how many more miles our K02s have in them, and we have a few long trips planned for the summer.
