Quote is for (2)... yeah, I suck at grammar. Engineer by schooling so I could avoid English. I will reword on the site. I appreciate the feedback.Mr. RUST FARMER: foolish question…l know! But the on-line description of your seat belt stiffeners on your website seems to mention a “pair” (as in part number), but really doesn’t specify the price applies per “one side” or “per pair”? I’m sure it’s “numero-uno” based on the pic & certainly the cost to fabricate & reproduce? REALLY do APPRECIATE your supreme effort to fabricate these MUSEUM & fully operational QUALITY parts…you’re really at the front of my line!
Yes. I'm also launching a rebuild program and need cores.are you still looking for worn/cracked belts? in pairs, both early and late colors?
Seth, is there a way to salvage driver side seat belt wire/buzzer when replacing the stiffeners?Quote is for (2)... yeah, I suck at grammar. Engineer by schooling so I could avoid English. I will reword on the site. I appreciate the feedback.
Seth
You are funny... (well actually not, but I could laugh or cry on this topic and I choose to laugh)Seth, is there a way to salvage driver side seat belt wire/buzzer when replacing the stiffeners?
So just ground the cut off wire to the floor? You are funny... (well actually not, but I could laugh or cry on this topic and I choose to laugh)
Those wires are so brittle, it's been an abject failure for me.
I tried opening the buckles and re terminating the wires, my success rate in opening the buckle without destroying hovers around 50%. Perhaps their exists a youtube video on how to open a Toyota Buckle of this vintage, but I haven't found it yet...
Need a set in gray for FJ60
Jumper it out? I don't know if it's normally open or closed. My '62 is wintering in another state. So just ground the cut off wire to the floor?
I have one gray, but not the other.2 different color grays,
1981-1986 and 1987+
change happened with the pinstripe fabric
I have one gray, but not the other.
I have no idea which grey I have.
I'll probably have to do another run to get that sorted out. Right now it's, brown, Black, and one shade of grey.
Pretty confident that I have the darker bluish grey.also 2 colors of brown, same year range and change with the pinstripe fabric
2 different colors of the blue/gray
I can get pics of the brown tomorrow
all the trim pieces, dash, etc, changed shade of color with the pinstripe fabric change
