Currently rocking a naked roof with some landing pads with Yakima lock n load bars (only mount them when needed).

I am thinking of throwing on OEM roof rails. Kind of feels like a bloated wagon without them.

Not sure. Something weird about the rear/3 qtr without them.

Let’s hear some opinions!

FWIW - Someone on here who deleted their rails reported 1 mpg increase.

A smooth roof is different, kinda like finding a poverty spec TLC here in the States.

Roof rails!

I like the naked roof look, in fact, I've got the parts in my garage to do it. If you don't use a rack, leave it naked.

Naked looks better but I like having something to grab onto when I’m washing the roof. Also the factory bars work great for my Thule attachments.

I went a little bit different route. Gamiviti feet and front runner load bars. Only regret is not getting longer load bars.

Oh interesting. Looks very similar to my set up when I have my bars on. You might want to look into the lock n load bars from Yakima they are very wide. They might even fit your feet.

Yeah, I can def tell a difference when I have my bars on and off. I figured the roof rails wouldn’t have that much effect tho! 1 mpg adds up.

Nice background in that pic.
