Where's the trip pix?
And a poser pic of my son helping put the bumper on. Hopefully I will get a few finished pics of the bumper this weekend. I only have the lights to wire up and it will be good to go. What a heavy bumper, well built for sure!! Thanks again @TRAIL TAILOR
The right side is setup for a jerry can basket on the lower and the upper is for a basket to hold our ground tent or lawn chairs, etc..
Gonna side track my own thread here a bit.
I wish Sandstone wasn't two hours away. If you think you need help, I can probably run up Saturday
You should just start another thread for the RV project. I have thought about a similar project for a while. 4x4 motorhome that can tow my heavy 40 on a flat-deck.Gonna side track my own thread here a bit.
I mentioned earlier that the Ford V10 was just not up to my needs of toting this little class c and pulling a car trailer with the 4200 lb cruiser. With us cruising along at 52 mph and getting 5.13 mpg, I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted different. lol.
After about 2000 miles, I was having conversations with my wife what she would let me do. We spent 1 night in a campground on the way home, and shortly after we got set up a camper pulled in and setup next to us. A nice couple from Canada. He let me crawl all over his class c and check it out, a plan was made in my head!!
On our way home, I got on my wifes Facebook and made a deal on this and picked it up shortly after we got home.
This pic is after I took it apart to send out for paint.
And, we needed a hole to put the camper body on.
