Decided to hold onto this for now. Thanks to those who inquired.
I have a pretty decent M416: no rust holes but it has been rattle can repainted. Has good pintle and original chains and hooks, brake works (handle won't adjust but I haven't tried to free it), landing leg works, original lights, and the intact & readable data plate. (Wiring has been replaced with a flat 4)
I am planning to cut a tailgate into it… I know many people consider that a "bad thing" to do to a stock trailer. SO… I am proposing a trade: My all stock M416 for your less than stock M416 +/- cash depending on the details.
I am not looking to drive all over creation to make this happen. I am on Long Island, NY. If anyone is of the purist persuasion and is interested in talking about this drop me am email…

This is a 2007 Fleetwood Evolution E3 camper. The bed is about a foot longer and a foot wider than a M416
$2000, everything you see, except the Shovel, Axe, High Lift (unless you have to have em) Camping Gear, tent & Wheels. I will put either new White or Black steel wheels on the trailer. (Your choice) or I have a #6500 Axle with electronic brakes that I can put on the trailer, (Axle has 8 lug hubs, GMC pattern)
Im located in Shoreline Wa (Seattle) Trailer is ready to go has clean title. I was told the break away brakes dont work? but never used them. Has individual parking brakes for each wheel. Ill throw in a nice pintle hitch with standard 2" reciver hitch. Just show up and drive away.
has some surface rust here and there but nothing that cant be fixed easily. I used it to haul around the snowmobile

Up for sale is my M416 military trailer that has been modified into a off-road camping/adventure trailer. This started off as a ¼ ton M416 surplus trailer. It was completely stripped down and sandblasted. The Axle was replaced with a 3500 lb unit with 6 lug bolt pattern for Toyota and Chevrolet. The frame was extended in the front for a cooler rack, and two military style gas can mounts ( gas cans will not be included). Trailer still maintains the military pintle hitch. Body had the floor cut out and replaced with heavier steel. A custom lid was made which opens using a modified tailgate latch and heavy duty lift struts. After knee surgery, climbing a ladder up to and down from my RTT is just not the easiest task to perform; so I'm putting my barely used Maggiolina Air Top Carbon Medium RTT up for sale. It has only been used for three (3) nights, and is in completely blemish free, like new condition with the original and transferable 5 year warranty valid until July 2017. It is mounted on three (3) Rhino Rack Heavy Duty bars that are positioned to drop right on and mount on a LWB Mercedes-Benz Gwagen, and they clear the sun roof, so it can be used with the tent mounted.

very nice 23 feet long, 6'10" between wheel wells. ramps slide under the deck, brakes, lights work, comes with a spare. Tires are near new at 90% Pulls very nicely. I'm in the process of planning a cross-country trip from FL out west to CO/UT... leaving in the next couple of weeks and have decided on picking up an Expo Trailer for this little adventure.
I'm looking for a expo trailer that is already pretty outfitted with RTT and other amenities. I'm working on a medium budget based and of course would like to get as much bang for the buck as possible.
I can pick up the trailer pretty much anywhere along the way...or if the price is right can arrange delivery here prior to trip.

I just got back from trading and extra vehicle for this 2002 kamparoo cub tent trailer. Couldnt sell the vehicle for price i wanted so traded it instead.
Figured I would see if there is any interest here first.

Might consider a M416 or similar, but really need something more wife friendly.

We have only had this trailer for about 6 months and although it what we've always wanted my need to have a motorcycle again is too much for me to bear, so the boss said "If you want a bike the trailer has to go". We as many of you married folks now what the boss says must go!!!!
We have only used the trailer three times and has only been on one off-road trip through Mojave Trail in which it performed perfectly. Trailer is in mint condition there are no scuffs, tears, dents or rips. Here are is a list of the factory options that we added.

I have a very decent condition (no rust through, solid frame) M416 that is original and complete except for the wiring harness, tires and paint. It has the data plate intact and readable.
I have plans to cut a tailgate into it but I thought that maybe someone that cares about these might want to get it in order to keep it original/stock.
So here is the deal: I would want a very similar condition M416: working brake, original pintle, no rust through, no "issues". If it has a well executed tailgate all the better. I'll entertain trades +/- $ depending on what is on the table. I am in Metro NY and might be willing to drive a couple of hours to meet up. A swap at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in the spring would work well for me.
