18' Forest River Cherokee Travel Trailer/Camper
Up for sale is our 2007 Forest River Cherokee 18DD camper. It is practically new, with only one trip to Missouri and back, a couple of weekends at Atlanta Motor Speedway and two weekends at Golden Mountain. It isn't getting the use that we thought it would, and we'd like to pay off some debt to fund future Cruiser stuff. Besides, the wife has decided that she actually prefers tent camping. :) This camper sleeps 6 as it has one double bed, a couch that folds down and a dinette that also makes a double bed. Also included is a small TV that fits in a number of places around the camper for different viewing options.

The pictures really speak for themselves. Tires are new BFG All Terrains including the spare mounted on the front. Carries a ton of stuff and you could park a fourwheeler on top it's so solid. It has a tailgate, a handbrake and the original pintle hook tongue. It will come with a receiver pintle hitch adjustable for any height vehicle. I also have four bike mounts for the roof that haven't been mounted yet. The bed is new thick metal. Professionally painted.

Used Howling Moon 2010 trailer tent (tent only, not trailer) which includes the kitchen awning, the multiroom addon, mattress and offside patio. Excellent condition, no tears, rips, no mold, no mildew, zipper works perfectly, never used in rain, used less than a dozen times. The material is as much as 3X as thick as cheaper trailer tents. Doesn't have the wall set (part no 972433). Great for base camp or large family, just too large for me! Folded size 85.5" x 58.25" x 12", works with trailers 58" - 63" high, though my recommendation is works best under 60". Cost to import new is around $3500, I'm asking $1900 obo. I'd like to trade for a smaller utility trailer with rear ramp (5'x12' or 6'x10' or 6'x12'). I don't care about making money off the one I've got and am just looking for an easy transaction. The trailer is located near Sweeten Creek Road. I can also arrange for it to be in the East Asheville area in the evenings.

I have 2 other trailer projects underway and probably will never get this one done, so it's time to sell. The pintle, landing leg, and casting are intact. the frame is rusted and will need to be rebuilt, but the tongue channels are good. The box sides,and fenders, are okay but the floor has been replaced and is rough. There is a rudimentary tailgate. Spring packs are rusty. 1966 Johnson Furnace M416 trailer, restored and highly modified
Most of the work on this was completed by the previous owner, and he did a fantastic job in my opinion. I’ve just added a few refinements here and there that make camping VERY comfortable. We are selling to go back to a simpler RTT setup on the Land Cruiser and save for a pickup/FWC combo at some point in the future. Here are some of the highlights, I’m sure I’m missing something so feel free to ask questions:
*Frame and tub sandblasted and repainted, inside of the tub is bed-lined. It is definitely not "restoration" pretty, but there is zero rust and it is quite presentable and durable for off-road use.

Located in Huntsville, Alabama. 1952 1/4 ton jeep trailer. Solid rust free floor. Someone added a tailgate and changed hitch to 1 7/8 ball. Tailgate actually looks good and is well designed with reinforcments. Has trailer taillights wired to 4 flat connector. Original parking brake works great. Original kick stand is back on the trailer.
