I generally focus on large projects here. I dont do service unless I sold it and I dont do maintenance. That said, if I'm interested in the job I'll take on a small job here and there.

Here's to those .....

Last week i had a guy ask me to install some Dobinsons IMS on his 100 series. This one is really nice. 400,000 miles and hes done an amazing job refreshing it over the last few years.

The front is easy peasy

The rear is the suck bus. ESPECIALLY the Ironman that have the shaft up with a plastic cover keeping you from being able to grip it.

Vice grips up high that pop off as the nut moves up. Suckfest.

I did not want to trash the FCP. They are still OK. Way better than an OME yeller so i kept them if anyone wants them cheap

Riding home i could really tell the difference. Hard to beat these IMS.

He had his seats redone. Felt like a new truck

I was so pleased to see the block was nice and clean. This truck was sold in 2013 and its been driven 200 miles since.

Hes going to drive it as is for a while and see where he wants to take it next.

Finished this one up today. 2
Owner 330,000 mile LX 470.

My first The Cruiser Company bumper. Very very nice product.

To lift it I added 100 series stock coils and cranked the front bars.

Took the stock wheels to powder keg for powder and cerakote on the caps.

Tires are 285-65-18 Mickey Thompson AT

This is another one I’m working on this week that I should have started a build thread on but I though I was only going to do a few things on it for an older gentleman.

Turns out, he loves to start a good project and I end up having to finish it with a few more add ons each time. It showed up kinda beat and ugly and we have transitioned it into a good looking truck.

Weber swap for JimC rebuild
s*** bumper for 8274
No suspension and awful tires to good and good.
Weatherstripping
Recovered seats
Headliner

Today I’m adding a rebuilt Redhead steering box and working on his cruiser lean

Took a break from building out a 2F to pop this double seal speedo housing from @orangefj45 and get this one gone.

Used Classic Cruisers seat flip kit to get the extra leg room

Waiting on parts for my main project so I decided to grab this FJ55 I’ve had here for a couple of months and get it prepped to sell.

It’s not idling once I start it so I think the IAC on the sniper has gone bad. It’s a simple fix but I don’t have one so I ordered one.

Second, it needs a starter. This one is spotty. Ordered.

Washed it. Changed the oil. Greases it and checked
all fluids

Then I put it on the outside rack for a deep clean and am waiting for it to dry to apply some fluid film to freshen up the looks of everything under there.

Nice looking Pig.

Kinda wild how many of these things I sneak in between big jobs that in previous years I have no documentation or memory of.

2021 200 with 89,000 miles in for a Dobinsons IMS

The owner had me install Slee Sliders last year. I think a bumper will be next.

@Ozark cruiser set me up with the kit. It came up exactly 3” on all 4 corners.

He tells Dobinsons how to build the fronts to match the rear and he also has them build the control arms. Great help for people like me that don’t have a coil compressor.

Small Jobs thread should also include my pick up/delivery trips I love to do.

Left at 5. Drove to the Fl/Ga line. Swapped out a suspension. Picked up an HDJ79. Found a frog. Rode in the OG @jomelo truck. Ate fajitas. In bed before dark.

One of the enjoyable things I do for my customers as often as I can is delivery and pickup. It gives me time to work the grease from under my nails and my wounds to properly scab over.

This week I took off early Tuesday am to deliver a couple of 79s. One to Chattanooga and one to Pennsylvania.

I’ll be returning with two 70 series that are for sale so watch the classifieds.
