Some details:
1985 ext cab chassis with probably 150k on it, solid axle, custom flatbed (really well made).
1986 22RE with about 80-100k, can't guarantee the milage but that's what the previous owner told me and the engine has strong compression so I wouldn't be too surprised if it's true.
5spd transmission feels strong but there is something wrong with the reverse gear, it grinds a bit, It's never bothered me that much.
Rhino lined, pretty decent job.
You saw the interior… pretty rough but could be cleaned up and made nice. All the glass is good.
Has AC, doesn't work currently, have an estimate from a great Toy mechanic with Toy parts to replace the whole...
Looking for a nice 1st gen 4wd yota in or near Ga. Closer to stock and complete would be best a little lift and some grips is ok too. No mud boggers or truggies. Would like something I can run errands in for a while and eventually daily drive (read trash runs til I can get everything right, then 20k miles a year). Not looking to spend more than $4k. SR5 extra cab. v6 engine rebuilt recently. trans had couple gears replaced too. runs great, passes smog. just has front end damage.

I have a 1993 and a 1983 Toyota 4x4 I would like to do some trading on a ( FJ40 Landcruiser) in or close to GA. The 1983 has a 4cyl 5spd (90) model motor and the 1993 is a V-6 5spd. Both run good and would make some good toys for someone. Here are some pics of the 2 vehicles.

Sr5,Stock, 106k mi, 22re, 5 speed. 31" bfg all terrains 3/4 tread left. cruise control, A/C(but belt not on at this time) aftermarket header. runs and drives good has been my daily driver for the last 2 years.

The good:
19-21 mpg on 33.5" tires. Not sure of any other truck that can do that.
Tires are 75% rear, 50% front
Brakes are all new and tight (front disc/rear drum. Took out stock proportioning valve and has been revamped. Brakes work better than they ever did new)

i have a 1986 toyota pickup 22ret...22re with the factory turbo...boosts at about 7 to 9 psi... 5 speed stick... regular cab no grinds transmission shifts very smooth.......188,000 original miles..this model was built with a stonger drivetrain than the normal toyota pickups and has the extremely rare r151 transmission in it ..which has shorter gearing......car is all original and completely stock..only modification done is the 2.5 inch downpipe and exhaust piping....sittin on 31 inch tires...truck runs very strong and has no problems......4wd works and all new gear oil all the way around...have all receipts and complete folder with all maintenance and service records from toyota and lexus...has factory ac air conditioning as well not...
