I had the intention to build it up and drive it in the summer and get a beater in the winter. Well that worked out for one winter and now that Subaru winter beater I bought has turned into a full fledged rally car and I wont be driving it in the winter either. Trade My house in Kansas for your dependable vehicle.

Value wise, I'm looking at $7,500 on this. I purchased this as a backup plan with the thought that I may fix it up and move there if times get tough. 1974 FJ40 $4500 CASH or Trade I'm not dying to get rid of my 40 but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anybody would want to trade an 80 for it. I've had this 40 for several years and let me say up front that it is a work-horse and not a show pony but is in pretty good shape and has a few good mods and VERY solid mechanically. It is a late 74 model with a F.5 motor with a ton of compression and a 4-speed transmission. It will get you just about anywhere you want to go...just not fast. No lockers, almost perfect condition. 150k miles. Was previously owned by fleet mechanic for lax airport and was meticulously maint. New starter, alt, batt, valve cover gasget. No leaks.
