Frame is totally solid. It has been rock blasted by Colorado back roads, so it basically has no paint on it but also nothing but light surface rust even in the prone spots.

1988 FJ62 for sale in Richmond, Virginia area. Due to high gas mileage and not having time to fix I need to sell my Land Cruiser. I wish I could keep it but it needs a good home and someone that will be able to fix the problems. It would be a great vehicle to restore it has minimal rust and is stock (you can add and convert to fit your taste). It does need the transmission checked and maybe replaced.

Note: this is not mine, just found and figured I would pass along to the community as good karma! Seems to be a good deal, low mileage, original stickers included. Only negatives I can seem to find on it are:
- the hack job install of the CB and Lights (sorry I am anal about tidiness)
- small amount of rust in a number of areas
- rear cargo is missing carpet and back of rear seat shows that it looks to have quite a bit of use.
Car is showing that it was built Oct. 1983 but was not registered until March of 1984.

1986 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60, all stock, 143000 original miles, daily driver, Arizona truck, no rust, good motor but has an exhaust leak from a small gasket. Over all it is a very good truck and was four-wheeled very lightly, mainly used for camping, not wheeling. I'm selling it because this truck is not fitting our lifestyles anymore due to a growing family (baby number two is due soon).

I have for sale a 1989 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62 in Northwest Washington State. It has 245k on the original straight six engine. It is 99% rust free with only minimal rust on two small dens on the rear tailgate and a couple small patches on the rear frame. Overall it is very clean. It runs great, starts right up and drives just fine. The interior is in pretty good shape. There is a small hole in the carpet in the front that is easily covered by floor mats. The rear seat has a stain where the PO spilled blue paint on it. All of the gauges and lights in the dash are working. The 4x4 works in both high and low gear with no issues. Well the time has come to sell the much loved cruiser. I thought this day would never come, but I am moving and won't have room for her at my new place.
I bought this rig stock about 5 years ago and am the 3rd owner. I slowly did tastefull mods to her over the years as money would provide. I made sure that everything I did was reversable in case I ever wanted to turn her back to stock.

Hey Guys I've got to sell my wife's 62. Its a good running, low mileage 62 that I planned on keeping forever but things have become a little tight and we could use better MPG. It's either my 40 goes or the 62 and I put to much time into my 40 to quit now.

andcruiser for over 5 years and it is collector plated. For those outside of BC a series of pictures of the Landcruiser have to be submitted and the vehicle must meet a very strict criteria to receive this plate.
The interior is flawless, with not rips on any of the seats, the head liner is perfect with no rips, and no marks on the dash. It currently has about 147,000 miles ( 249,000 kms). This is a feeler...Deciding to possibly part with my 60 to move on to another vehicle project. Truck is solid, no leaks, engine just had timing adjusted, carb tuned and secondary rebuilt, any vaccum leaks addressed. Seats have covers but no tears just dirty, no tears in carpets even in cargo area, that carpet was just replaced. All weather mats throughout including cargo. Runs great, highway speeds no problem. 1984 fj60 – I have had it since highschool and it has always been my toy/obsession. Between work, life, and other projects I no longer have time to mess with it and it has been sitting off and on for the last 4 years. I would love to sell it to someone that appreciates an old Land Cruiser.
The Bad:
-It has a broken front birfield right now so it is not drivewable on the road (binds the front steering) but you are more than welcome to drive it around the yard.
-Has a solid frame with some rust on the lower tailgate and the rear wheel wells (goes through to cab).
-Has a pull to the left - could be a pinched brake line (visible) or a botched cut 'n' turn.

Life has a funny way of changing. Bought the 60 last summer with intention to build it up into my expedition rig. Quit my job, in discussions on a few new ones which would require moving - one overseas. So, I need to figure out what to do with my stuff. Wanted to see if there is interest in my rig:
