Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and I apologize if I am not posting in the correct section.
Up for sale is my 1974 FJ40, which has the original great running F engine, a 3 speed tranny. The truck has tons of new parts and upgrades, such as rear ARB locker, front fj60 knuckles and disk brake conversion, fj60 power steering and its cooler, RuffStuff SOA, RuffStuff Anti-Wrap Bar, Rough Country 9000lb winch with 100ft 3/8" synthetic, 2 speed electric fan, brand new dash and Bestop softop and doors, 30" Flood LED Light Bar, Sony Bluetooth stereo with 2 subwoofers, custom genuine leather seats and many more that I do not remember now. I have spent so much money on this truck, but I cannot afford the costs involved with the engine swap to make it a freeway friendly truck. Asking price is $23500 OBO, but I may also consider partial trading with an fzj80 or a real estate within the U.S.

What's behind the diamond plate?
The quarter panel! The diamond plate is there for reinforcement and the better look. I hope that answers your question!
I just came home from work and attached 2 pictures of the quarter panels to clarify any confusion. The truck does have some body cuts in the rear fender flare area and the bumpers.

@RT9 Welcome to the forum. Nice rig. bhsdriller was asking about the diamond plate because it can be used to cover body modifications or rust. GLWS.

To start with diamond tread usually spells rust and/ or someone covering up something. You won't find a fondness for diamond tread on this forum. Also, expect your 40 to get scrutinized here, so don't get so offended.
Maybe I am new to this page, and I am not very familiar with the type of conversations going on here. However, I just don't get why we have to assume the worst case always

It is all cool! I just did not get the question. I did not work on this truck by myself as I don't know much, but I had my welder cover the opening for the back up light on the left quarter panel if that is the concern.

More build pics would help your sale
Unfortunately, I do not have many pictures of the repair process, but attached are the pictures of the front disk brake conversion and the carburetor rebuilt that was done recently. Thank you for the advice!
