I got this one in a trade from a friend recently who wanted a running vehicle instead of a project. He had it over 12 years and just never got to it.
I was thinking of building it until my wife decided she and the kids want to come along =) (big yay!) So since I have permission to get a fj55, fj60, fj80 this one needs to go.
I would also consider trading this plus cash (up to $3k more) to get a turn key fj55, fj60, fj62, fj80 that I could go off roading right now
Details
1969 fj40 that had a restoration done to it about 12 -14 years ago. It has been sitting for at least 10 years with no motor. Title is out of the CA DMV so no fees- I do have a signed title in hand so paper work will be easy.

Wanting to sell my FJ40 to get a 80 series. This FJ is in really good shape and is unmolested. I can get pictures of anything you like. Is garage kept. I have had it for a little over a year. I do not have to sell, so no crazy low ball offers. Would prefer somebody close to buy it. I am in Charlotte N.C. With it having a lot of extra parts shipping would be a pain.

I hate to say this but I'm looking to sell my landcruiser. I've had it for 3yrs and have only welded one piece of exhaust tubing on in the last year. The project is 75-80% done. The engine needs the to have the wiring harness mated to the landcruisers. I've labled most of the LC wires and Jims performance has ran through the chevy 4.3 wiring harness & CPU. It has almost all the parts and paint to complete I just don't have the time.
Parts I've bought:
1995 Chevy 4.3 - Has been rebuit from Heads to rockers and all parts replaced except rods and pistons (checked by the machine shop who rebuilt the heads - Jims Performance ran through the wiring harness and CPU. It has a flashed chip for 220hp and stock chip for 190hr.

Her name is Betty, and I picked her up a couple years ago over in Seattle. Y'all might recognize the rig.
I have repaired all the cancer on the windshield frame and along to top of the bed. Brakes are good, and it is definitely a driver.
I discovered that the blinkers no longer work, but I will be looking into that over the holiday weekend. Tabs are current, so all you have to pay is title transfer and sales tax.

This is a beautiful original 4wd that I purchased five years ago locally from the original owner who had babied its entire life. This cruiser has the original floor mats and the paint underneath the floor mats and the dash and interior is original. This landcruiser has 128K original miles, which is low for a 37 year old vehicle. When I purchased this Toyota, the original engine had a bad rod which I had planned on rebuilding it to keep it original. However, I was fortunate and found a 2F engine from a 1975 Landcruiser that was completely rebuilt from top to bottom, new clutch, new hoses, water pump, rods and pistons the works, and this engine also came with a downey header and exhaust. As much as I hate to do it, I am selling my 1967 FJ40. I've had this truck for five years and have enjoyed every minute of it. It's never let me down. Time to start thinking about getting my 15yo daughter a car. I have it on Atlanta CL for $11.5k. Posting here and there for now. Would sell to a mudder for $10k.
4th owner. Oxnard California car until 5 yrs ago when I got it. It has been garaged in GA since. I've put about 5k miles on it, mostly to and from modest expedition style camping trips. It is a perfect blend of true off-road capability, but with the look and drivability of a daily driver.
