Its a 1972 FJ40 that I bought end of 2008 with the full intention of doing the frame off.
This is the day I got it.
Torn down
Partial rebuilt 3FE had less than 100K miles.
Everything has been sanded and cleaned and repainted.
The body on the Cruiser has been professionally repainted with High quality paint and clear coat.
No rust on body! I had new quarter panels and rocker panels installed.
I have many other parts that I will include with the sale.

That site shows the rig as of its finish. There has been some other stuff added to it over the years like new wheels/tires, a 6 pt roll cage, stereo etc, but everything mechanical is pretty much in that site, along with the entire process. There is over $40k invested in her, and I hate to see it go.

This FJ40 is the nicest 40 that I have ever owned and the only reason I am selling is to start a new project! Previous owner did 98% of the restoration.
Originally started out as a hard top, but an altercation with a tree bent and cracked the fiberglass cap, now has a soft top. The OEM soft doors turned out real nice and keeps that old school look.
The interior is really nice, it is fully carpeted with a set of shane's seat covers that really brought the interior back to life. The DS seat has the extension bracket installed, so you tall guys will have a little extra room. The jump seats were fully restored with new hardware and canvas straps. He is selling a 1969 and a 1970 FJ40. The 69' looks to be complete but has not ran since it was purchased. The 70' currently runs and has new brakes and a new clutch master cylinder. Neither one of these cruisers has any sort of a top.
They are both located in South Georgia and that is about all of the history that is known. The picture below is of the 69', I will get the 70" posted up when he sends it to me. He is "looking" to get $2500.00 for them both.

Rust - lots of questions about rust. Yes, there is rust. Any FJ40 of this vintage that did not live its entire life in the desert has rust - an unfortunate fact of life. The significant rust spots are the driver's and passenger's floor pans. See photos. Replacement floor pans are available and it is not a difficult (AKA expensive) process to replace them. The rear tub is in good shape. The bottom of passenger's door has some rust - see photo, the driver's door is in good shape...
