Hello all! I'm selling my 74 FJ. It had a partial fram-off restore from the PO so theres alot of not brand new but newish items. I have a whole binder full of receipts from the PO. Its got a 3" lift from Hell Creek, 33" Super Swampers with about 80% tread left on them. Its at a shop right now getting a brand new wiring harness installed. The harness if from EZ-Wiring. That is almost done. The 1F motor runs good and has just under 73k on it. It also has the hardtop along with two halfdoors and a bikini top from Bestop. Both fenders are fiberglass. 1974 FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser 4x4 with Chevy V8 conversion done at Rapid Wrench in Bend, OR about 4 years ago.
This truck was in Central Oregon for over 15 years (dry there!) until I brought it up here earlier this year.
Was my daily driver until the rain started back up. I haven't had time to fix up a hard top and won't have time...so instead of letting this rig sit all winter I want to sell it to someone that can get her back on the road, rain or shine!

1973 FJ40 Land Cruiser. 3 speed. 4x4 works good. Would make a good farm truck, deer lease rig or hunting truck. Not registered currently, but wouldn't be too hard to get it to pass Inspection. Has a trayback on it, making it very unique and have the functionality of a pickup, like a FJ45. I am not parting this one out.
It has low compression on 2 cylinders, but it runs pretty good. The doors and rims in the pic are sold. It comes with black steelies.
Price is $3000. Located in Austin. Selling because I dont use it as much since I got my Kubota 4x4 tractor.

Up for sale is my favorite vehicle - EVER! I built it personally over the past 3 years, and have had a ton of fun with it.
Here's the details:
1974 FJ40 - painted in Voodoo Blue (matches the 2007 FJ Cruiser) with PPG 2 stage paint. 4 coats of clear.
The interior and underside have been roll-lined with Herculiner. This is so much more cost effective than a Rhino or Line-X, as you can repair it and re-coat it at anytime for less than $50 if you ever need to - this adds a great amount of sound deadening too.
2F Inline 6 - I replaced the original 6 cylinder with a newer 2F - recently replaced the headgasket in July and runs great!
Stock Toyota Carb, newer FJ60 electronic ignition - starts...

I have decided to go a different route on a project and I can't get to these anytime soon so I thought I'd see what kind of interest there is here for them. First off these are projects or as I planned a combined project. Both are pretty much complete and together would make a good FJ40 with a lot left over to sell off. That was my plan but I won't bore you with the details.

It's currently set up as a trail rig but can be converted back to street use or restored without too much hassle.

74 FJ40 rust free body and frame. The paint is a rattle canned white and laid on pretty thick. The top, sides and roof come with it and are rust free as well.
2F inline 6 with rebuilt and rejetted Weber 32/36 carb.

I have a '79 for sale with a long list of the usual stuff so here goes, the body was completely rebuilt about 14 yrs ago all rust of any kind was cut out and replaced,new custom made rear full quarters with a lip in the opening for the flares, not just cut out, new rockers, new mid crossmember, new fenderwel tops and sides, new rear crossmember. The engine is a rebuilt fuel injected TPI out of an '86 IROC, the trans is a 700r4 rebuilt by AAMCO with a downey thin adapter and a t-case from a 73 3 speed FJ. The front and rear diffs have a new bearings and seals and have ARB's and the ARB compressor. It has a 3 in. lift from Manafree with 10 in. aluminum wheels and 33 in. Goodyear MT's. Hi there, I'm looking for a BJ40 or BJ42 landcruiser. Preferably a '83 up BJ42 with 3b motor. I'd also like power steering, front discs and aircon, but they are not a deal killer. Budget is up to 400,000php, but it would have to be one beautiful rig to get that high. Live in Zambales and can meet up just about anywhere in southern Luzon for inspections. I'd like to work out the deal through email and photos as I'm working in west africa untill the begining of November, and could close the deal then. Figured I'd give it a shot, who knows? 79 Land Cruiser FJ40 needs a new home don't have time to fix it the way I want. My loss your gain. Good title. The parts alone are worth a alot of money don't have time to deal with it. Cruiser stuff never loses value just seems to get more expensive.

Cruiser has stock 6 cylinder needs dropped back in engine is from a 84 FJ60 ran good when I took it out just had some oil leaks I have the seals to fix it.
There is no hard top I have a half cab bikini top from Specter Offroad.
