I'm starting a company in Honduras and I bought this FJ40 6 months ago to ship it over to HN and recently discovered it's substantially cheaper for me to buy one down there instead of shipping one. I have about $7,900 in her and need to sell quick so I'm starting the asking price at a $1,400 less than what I paid. Asking $6,500 or best offer.
The history as I was told is the FJ was imported about 9 years ago and driven for couple of winters then stored in a garage for around 5 years...
If you are looking for an exceptional FJ to restore look no further. 90% of all the factory equipment is still complete and in tact on this vehicle. It has 59,797 original miles on it. This vehicle has very little rust, what rust it did have was cut out and repaired 6 years ago. Vehicle is solid. I must say I'm disappointed seeing an Icon up on eBay that has rust on almost every metal surface under the frame- suspension and all the metal fasteners in the engine compartment are rusty....even the master cylinder looks rusty.
Is my Mac screen playing tricks on me, or is it really rust?
Anyways....for 100K you can almost buy a new one!

I have a 1970 FJ-40, almost 100% stock, has con-fer 1 1/2" shackles I believe and pro comp shocks, hard top, hard doors, full soft top, roof rack, jerry cans, airtank in rear bumper, front and rear PTO off trans with front driveshaft run 8000 lb winch, hella off road lights, 31" bfg all terrains, 25% tread left, starts , runs and drives good. It has been in a barn for about 5 years in storage, so I put seafoam in the gas tank and 5 gallons of fresh gas, will need a good flush and possibly a carb re-build. 2F, 3 speed on the floor. Engine runs smooth and quiet, trans and clutch are good, t-case has been updated to shifter style, not vacuum anymore. It is black in coloe with gray cloth interior, has 60/40 front seat and 1 rear...

Up for sale is a 1977 Toyota Landcruiser. The original color on this was white. Clear title. This truck needs lots of work unless you are going to do what the previous owner was going to do and that was make a rock crawler out of it. I stopped them but none too soon. This truck is driveable but not legal. It has no lights on it what so ever. It runs great for I drove it to the barn where it is parked. It is a 4 speed with front disc brakes. It is mostly the bare essentials for a land cruiser but a great start. It is the tub with seats and windshield frame (no glass). There are no doors and no top. It does have a roll bar and the tub is in pretty solid...
leefover suspension, disc breaks, chevy 4sp tran, strait 6 toy motor, tilt wheel, pwr steer, little rust under doors, runs good, needs carb work, tierod work, been sittn 9 yrs, started reviving her 6mo ago, little money and skills so might sell her. no pics, but shes stock baby blue. whats her value???

Up for sale is a :) 1973 fj40 land cruiser. I purchased this from a gentleman in TN and along with the cruiser he gave me the vin plate from TN and title to go along with it. He said he didn't have time to attach the vin to the truck so I have it in an envelope. I don't know exactly where to attach it but I am sure your local dmv could help you out with that. Anyway, here is what I know about the fj. It looks to have a gm engine in it and not a 2f. If this is true does that mean it has a gm350 conversion adapter? It does not have the original seats. The tub looks to be in fair shape. Pretty solid. It does have front disc brakes and it has rectangular headlights that are broken. :) What you see is what you get. I am asking...

The second one currently has the fenders, running boards, and bumpers taken off where I was going to do some minor restorations to it and ran into financial problems. This vehicle has a 350 conversion, spring over axle, 4" leafspring lift, rear locker, and Saginaw power steering with high steer conversion.
Extra parts list: (not counting what has already been listed)
1 factory 3spd tranny
1 sm420 transmission w/ conversion...

Hello, I am looking to sell my 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser Fj40. The odometer on the vehicle shows 59xxx miles as of this past weekend. I purchased this truck last year with the intentions of making it a project. Sometime in the 90's this truck was restored and I have a Huge book of records to prove what was done. The truck runs and drives fantastic. The 4 wheel drive works great and all fluids have been changed. The truck also has a brand new radiator and water pump as I did not want to take any chances.
