1970 FJ40
SOLD-I bought this Fj40 with the intention of learning some mechanical skills and staying with the principles of keep everything vintage Toyota and simple. The engine runs and sounds great ,transmission and clutch good, overall it drives well and stops like a drum brake cruiser. Body work and paint are not great, but it is solid and good enough for a cheap driver. The following work has been recently completed: Full tune up, wires and cap stock carburetor gone through new fuel line ,rebuilt original glass bulb filter new hoses with inline heater installed intake and exhaust manifold machined and new gaskets installed adjust valves new valve cover gasket new full exhaust system installed Some poor body work had been done in the past and...
1975 FJ40 FST (no top) So. Calif.
8/1975 FJ40 FST Southern Calif Truck. Located in San Fernando Valley. Truck originally purchased by Disney Studios as a camera truck. PO had this work done just before he sold it to me: Professionally rebuilt carb, t'case, 4spd trans, all new brakes (4 wheel drum) including brake booster, MC, etc. Front end TRES RREs replaced, New Downey springs (4") Bilstein shocks. new MOR shackles, etc, new 12x33x15 BFGs. New Downey bumpers. Gas tank replaced. Some kinda bucket seats. Has a strong 2F engine. I've put almost no mileage on it in three years, other than a once-a-month trip around the block with 4wd engagement to keep everything lubed. It's the usual story, too many toys, too little time, too many plans, too little...
100% Original 1968 FJ40 with 104k miles for sale
Please go to: http://s799.photobucket.com/user/nadspdx/slideshow/1968%20FJ40 to see 160+ additional photos… This is the rarest of the rare...An all original, uncut, unmolested, rust free 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. This wasn’t a barn find, it was a heated garage find! I purchased this amazing truck from an critically acclaimed author at his sprawling estate. He had owned the truck for over 8 years and kept it parked in this heated 6 car garage with the rest of his collection. He was in the process of selling off his automobile collection to make room for an in-ground, in-door swimming pool. He only drove this truck about once a week around the neighborhood when he was suffering from “writers block.” The author had purchased...

Hello Everyone, I'm looking for a nice pre 1974 fj40, original paint, 3 on the tree, not modified (SOA, V8, etc.), no cut fenders, original drive train, not too much rust, restored is ok if done correctly. I know these are getting harder to find, but they're still out there. I have a healthy budget so any leads would be great, or if you have one in your garage you're willing part with, please let me know. Thanks Robert
1969 FJ40 Landcruiser, Fort St. John, BC Canada
Ford 302, with EFI and GT40 heads, headers, Automatic transmission, rock crawler transfer case, Detroit locker in the rear, front end upgraded to 83 Mini-truck and hubs, Jeep TJ seats, stereo, bikini cab top (also still have hard top), lots of work, lots of fun. What I didn't finish on this project: body (in good shape but needs some final metal work and paint), gas tank (removed under seat tank, need to build a custom fuel cell for underneath, has small tank in there now), the shift knuckle between the transfer case and front shaft needs replacing (can be ordered from Man-A-Fre)). So this is a project for someone that loves Landcruisers and wants a cool little project and a fun vehicle. If you think it is a jeep, it's probably not the...
1973 FJ40 Frame off - The Gazoo (Rome, GA)
SOLD! After much deliberation, I have decided to list the Gazoo for sale due to my upcoming move to Asia. Although I have an offer to store this, the stress is becoming too much. If I can not sell before I leave then it will be stored. Having a truck sitting in the states for the next 3 to 6 years seems silly. I am asking $15,900 Negotiable Cash sale. No warranty, no financing. Shipping is on you. The Gazoo is registered as a 1973 FJ40. It has a clear Georgia title. It was built from the ground up from parts I obtained mostly on Mud. The details: Engine 1986 2F - Just had a valve job and new head gasket installed. Radiator is a lifetime warranty from Advance Auto Parts New Fuel Pump Gear reduction starter...

I can send as many detailed pictures as you wish. (The "work decals" will be removed tomorrow). I purchased this FJ40 a few years ago in Atlanta. *Atlanta Custom Cruisers (ACC) did some extra restoration projects for me before I actually went down to pick it up. 1979 BJ40 Resto Mod
After 3-4 years of blood sweat and tears the BJ40 is on ebay. I realize our mud community is a community for more budget related builds and classifieds but I figured I would share this link more for entertainment value... http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listing/1979/toyota/land--cruiser/849478 Just seeing how far it will go on a auction and then will consider offers. May take it to Barrett Jackson? For more information Cruiserinnovations@gmail.com 530-966-1300
