I have a 1994 Landcruiser 80 series with 119,000 miles here in Costa Rica. The car is in good shape but i am noticing a hard shift when it shifts back down to low gear, city driving when slowing way down. I have changed the fluids but wondering if I should consider changing the solenoids. Obviously I don't want to open a can of worms but if it can be fixed relatively easily I'd like to make it happen. Its likely I will have to bring the parts here from the US so trying to make a plan. Any ideas/suggestions? Are these solenoids something that can be remanufactured or serviced or best to replace?
