those steps are gone (broke them in Katemcy) Tires are BFG A/T ko3 265/70/18s
Did you get the E load or newly released D load KO3's? What do you think of them?
Finally got my Nomads on with tires, took it out on the trails and am pretty happy with it but am also probably going to add some spacers soon along with a couple of pieces of armor just to be safe. Nomad 501 Convoy 17x8.5 and Toyo ATIII 255/80R17

Spare is also the same combo, and fits under the truck, bit it's a squeeze.

Just Got the 2026 LC with 18 inch wheels. I am new to off roading so just learning as I go. I went to Discount tire and they were able to fit 295/70R18s Falken wild peaks AT4 HDs. No rubbing I can see. They did say it will be better to use 1 inch spacers so the tires don’t touch control arms during full lock turns. Hopefully that doesn’t happen but I will get some spacers and Discount Tire said they will put them for me. Thanks again for checking the pictures.
Just got my GX after about a 3 month wait and did the westcott lift, method 703 wheels in 17”x8.5” and Toyo open country MT tires 35”x12.5”. It looks so much better than stock and honestly I don’t mind a slightly stiffer ride. I will admit that I don’t off road really so maybe a bit of a poser haha but couldn’t be happier and I get to pair it with my ‘99 100 series Land Cruiser in the driveway and listen to my wife ask once a week if we really need both

RRW RS7-H in a matte bronze. +12 offset. Wrapped in 285/70/17 KO3s. Stock suspension, no lift, no rubbing.

Pulled the trigger on some pizza cutters this morning for my 2025 1958 edition.
235/80R18 Toyo Open Country AT3
I spent a lot of time going back and forth on which size I was going to run. I knew I wanted to keep the OEM 1958 wheels which are slightly thinner than the wheels for the standard trim Land Cruiser 250 (7" on the 1958 vs 7.5" on the standard trim).
I focused on the Toyo Open Country AT3 due to its decent sidewall design and lower weight when compared to other popular tires like the BFG KO2/KO3 and the Falken Wildpeak AT3W/AT4W. I have run BFGs, Falkens, and Yokohamas on past Land Cruisers and loved all of them. But this 250 is my daily driver and I am really focusing on balancing its daily livability (ride, fuel economy, etc.) and its ability to perform offroad occasionally.
The two options I considered:
Toyo Open Country AT3 in 235/80R18 E (what I eventually chose)
Toyo Open Country AT3 in 265/70R18 SL

- Cons
- E load stiffness
- Low availability size compared to 265/70R18

- Overall Diameter: 32.64" (compared to 31.5" on OEM tires)
- Rim Width Range: 7.0" to 9.0"
- Weight: 44 pounds (compared to 39 pounds of OEM tires)
- Load Range: SL
- Pros
- 33" Tire
- Reasonably light
- Three Peak snow rated
- SL load comfort
- High availability size
- Cons
- Slightly worse fuel economy due to wider tire
- Edge of wheel width range; more tire ballooning and possible uneven wear
- SL load lower protection
