OK, here's the skinny folks; there are 2 places in town here for shirts I checked out. Pricing as follow is for screen printing that will be fairly thick except there will be no printing for the green areas of the logos because the green shirt will work there. This is for a large 12" logo on the BACK of the shirt and a one color pocket size print on the front. The front we can either do JSC J.S.C. or JxSxC in gold OR have our logo outlined in just gold on the front. The smallest we can go without making new artwork would be a child Small. No toddler shirts.

Body Cover:

Artwork Setup Fee: $135 to $150
Green 100% Cotton Gildan shirts 25-48 ordered: $11.99

Imprints:

Artwork Setup Fee: $65 to $75
Green 100% Cotton Gildan shirts 25-30 ordered: $13.30
Green 100% Cotton Hanes Beefy T 25-30 ordered: $15.25

ANOTHER OPTION: At Imprints we can have the artwork printed digitally with a light and almost unnoticeable feel. BUT we can only go with light colored shirts: white, grey, mint, powder blue, etc. I got a shirt done at Cafepress.com and I put it on white. The feel is awesome but it was $23 shipped to the door and I think we can get better quality and pricing from Imprints. The pocket logo on this would be the TLCA logo which we have permission to use. It would be $13.85 for white shirts and $16.00 for the gray. No artwork setup fee for this either. Keep in mind any 2XL shirts are more no matter what options you choose.

Lastly:

We can get hats done at Imprints as well with our logo embroidered on the front. It is a one time $75 charge to setup the art for stitching. Hats (tons of choices) would run about $15 each after that and we can pick and choose whatever hats we want, basically mix and match as long as we keep the color of the hat similar so they don't have to change out thread colors. I am thinking dark green hats would look sweet.

Questions, comments, gripes, nitpicking and whining now being accepted :flipoff2:

My choice would be white shirts with the digital printing for a better feel and good price. Spend club money on the $75 embroidery charge and have green hats made to order. My $.02

Seconded!

Either one. My only thought is if I wanted to buy a sweatshirt I would want a darker color- I tend to get light colors dirty quick..

I say we start with shirts and maybe sweaters. I'd rather have a sweater or hoodie than a hat anyway. :D

I think that the lighter shirt is the way to go.

I will check on digital printing on sweatshirts. I know a thick ink job on a sweatshirt is fine cuz you wouldn't feel it but that would cost us to set up the screens which we don't need to do for the white or light shirts.

Looks great, can we get a sample from them? I like the hat idea, but I never wear hats : (

Do they have examples of the two style shirts (good pics examples)? I'd like to see the difference in the two concepts.

2 styles as in the Gildan vs. Hanes or the screen vs. digital printing? The shirts are almost identical just a slight diff in color and quality. The printing is the big difference. I have a Cafepress one that is digitally printed and it looks good. I don't have a screened one yet obviously....ah I will take a pic and be back in a few.

OK...no idea if you guys will be able to SEE what I am explaining. The 80 series shirt is screen printed and the image is very thick to the touch, so much so that I never wear the shirt because it causes me to sweat like I have a vinyl logo adhered to my back. The JSC shirt (yes it's messed up but they are sending me a new one and I get to keep the mess up) is digitally printed and you almost can not feel the image. Now the 80 image, although thick, has a gloss to it and is very bold. The JSC image is printed into the shirt I think, kind of like ink soaked into the material as opposed to a sticker applied to the back. So with the ink in the material you get a duller image and the lint and piling of the shirt comes off within the image just like the rest of the shirt. The 80 image will probably crack with age but will stay bright and not have any piling of material since it's like a sticker on top. I tried to crinkle up both shirts to show that the 80 shirt is a stiff printed image and the JSC just feels like a shirt.

Also note the TLCA logo on the JSC shirt, that's how I would want to print up our shirts if we go digital. If we go screens then it has to be a one color simple image on the front or the costs will go sky high. I really wanted a dark green shirt with the logo, but even more than that I don't want a shirt I won't wear because it sticks to my back. Sweatshirts and hoodies are fine though, they are too thick to notice the vinyl like print.

If we go with a digital run I will get all the colors available and let everyone pick and choose. White is cheaper by more than a couple bucks and I would assume all colors would be the same price as the gray.

Thanks for all the work Garett! I think my biggest issue is that I won't wear a white tshirt. It just doesn't happen : P
If we can get other colors I'm fine with it. A moderate grey will work for me.

I will see if I can get a photo up of some color swatches, and no not the swatch watch you used to wear while blading Jerod.

To Madre???!!!

Not to bring this back on subject or anything....

I stumbled across this site: Zazzle | Custom T-Shirts, Posters, Art and more...

Looks like it's a bit less than $20 for a t-shirt. *BUT* (here's the catch), you can add multiple images and place them just about anywhere on the shirt.

I think I'm gonna order a shirt and maybe a few stickers come Payday. I wonder what my design will be..... :hmm:
