i just got an 80 40 annv edition with 37 blue lable crawlers and factory lockers. i have a 40 but am very impressed with the 80 that has factory lockers. point being the lockers will not engage, what advice do you all have before i take it to the shop? thanks Jake

Welcome :flipoff2:

For starters use the search function here, don't take it to a shop. :)

The locker "motors" if not used commonly freeze. Find a dirt parking lot and drive figure eights with them engaged. I believe the center must lock before the rear or fronts. So start with 4L and see if the center will lock and then repeat once that is functioning with the back.

The key is to keep them exercised so it wont happen again ;).

If those couple simple steps/leads dont help search, there is tons of threads and solutions from simple to complete rebuilds here.

Good luck and welcome to addiction :D

CDL must be locked, ie. it must be in 4low (there are workarounds, but I assume it is stock), and the CDL light must shine steady, and ABS light will turn on (ABS will be turned off). Then you can engage fr/rr lockers, drive slowly on a loose traction surface in tight circles, and they should engage. If not, there is info in the faqs about "sticky" lockers, IIRC.
