Just finished installing the Hayden 14" electric fan, found at Shucks for $69.99. (Now need to finish the wiring.)

I wanted the Derale, but time is relatively short for me and I cannot get one locally, didn't want to futz around with waiting for one. We've been having some unusually hot weather, and as I discovered on the last trail run my clutch fan is shot (spins, but will not lock up...blue hub fan ready to be installed, probably tomorrow).

The fan will fit, but requires trimming the upper transmission cooler mounting bracket (just trimming off the edge, no strength/support lost) and trimming the fan shroud about .5" wide and 3" high (where the center bracket goes).

I plan on wiring it up as SUMOTOY suggested. I may install a switch at some point down the road.

Pics tomorrow when it's light.....

And now for my condenser question....

After removing the center bracket I noticed that my condenser is bent up in the middle. Retrofive thought it was to clear the bracket.

Is this as is designed?

The one I got in the mail to install in mine has the same little bump.

I like you fan idea as I already had a pusher fan there but will have to take it out to install an A/C system on my rig. I've been looking for one that will still fit with the condensor installed.
