For some reason search isn't working for me this morning. I used to be able to pull up about 10 threads.

Here's what I remember

Loaded 92-95 4wd 4runner front calipers.

Grind a little off the backing plate to make it fit.

May have to grind a little off the caliper to clear the stock rims.

Should bolt right into the correct spot for my rotors.

Works better with a 1" master cylinder from a _________________ ?

Am I missing anything besides the softline vs. existing hardline debate?

Perfect. Thanks.

If those are stock rims, did you have to grind the calipers?

'95 80 series non ABS master that's my setup at least, seems to work really well w/ runner and Monte discs

good luck

If you're going with rear disks add in a 1993+ FJ80 master cylinder. Since the 80's of that year and newer came with rear disks the master is set up for it.

I found what will not work.
# 47201-60551 is a non ABS '95 80 series. It will mount up but the lines will need to be really dicked with to get them to connect. There is one in between '93 and '95 that should be the right one.

Pic of Master Cylinder

This one fits, with very little modification of the brake lines... 93 LC

Good catch - I thought I used a '95 model year but it was whatever Marlin sells, I must not be correct on the year.
