FJ60 with 80 series front grill/lights

SAw this today...I like the look of it...wonder how hard it was to put the 80 front grill and lights in to this 60?

So the fenders are from an 80 with some custom work above the wheel opening?

No -- looks like 60 front fenders. The front corners look like they were modified to accept the front turn signals. Not sure what would've been done to keep the grill & headlamps in place.

Looks like the hood is from an 80, too.

Its the curve on the top of the fenders that made me think they're 80 fenders. The mirrors are pretty cool too. They look like they swing out for trailering.

80's came with four right in the beginning. I bet that cruiser got in an accident and they had a donor truck there. so a skilled body man made it happen.

I llike it..Looks like it coulda been factory. Someone did some nice work. Anyone know about the Australian cobra alloy wheels that were on it? Cool find.
