A few updates to share. I upgraded the wheels to match my Tacoma. Had to put on wheel spacers for the grease cap to clear the center caps. Actually prefer the wider stance the spacers provided adding potentially a bit more stability for the trailer.

After a bit of testing i found that the original "kickstand" I modified made it very difficult to lift the front of the trailer, unlock the kickstand to flip it up to attached to the hitch. After a lot of consideration I purchased a beefy trailer tongue jack. Had to modify it by cutting and sleeving it to extend the arm by 4 to 5 inches due to how tall the trailer is. In the end this solution made things so much easier when trying to lift the front end of the trailer when loaded down. I removed the original kickstand from the trailer and now only use this new trailer jack.
