Would like to know the story of his travels. Ausie plates, was he from there or just the vehicle.

Looks like the engine mounts were toast and the fan went into the shroud. I peeled back the shroud and then cut the fan fins down for clearance. Then ratchet-strapped the engine mount from the block to the frame to pull it back a bit and support it for him to get back to Elfrieda…. Luckily I had some useful tools with me.

He’s a dude who lives out in the desert. His truck is Australian.
Was the air conditioning compressor belt already removed? Worked latter part of the 1970s and most of then1980s doing air conditioning repair out of trucks with no air conditioning. Old age have gotten soft. Just traded a 5th gen 4Runner TRD Off Road for something that has climate control and few other bells and whistles.
That is too bad, hopefully he can get it straitened out, these rigs are too valuable to loose.
take your pic from parts of the globe, hammered beat to s*** rigs from Oz,, rust bucket chewing gum repaired sheet metal from the Americas, or ridden hard and put up wet bailing wire and mismached fasteners from the middle east. The truck is a basket case.

75 series seems to be considered disposable after it pays for itself.
i dont know, i never expected anything from Toyota much past the 10yr parts availability, the fact that we can still get OEM and TEQ parts for our older rigs at all is pretty amazing.agreed 100%
another variable that most potential "Toyota" possessor's don't fully comprehend until too late is the reality of post vehicle purchase. Toyota doesn't give a rat's ass about you outside of you purchasing the next Toyota vehicle.
for a vehicle that receives as much loyalty as the Land Cruiser receives from it's owners, it's post warranty recognition is almost VOID. I am an avid OEM, TEQ freak, but the lack of concern for owner support has soured me.
