I think super swamper has a 35-10.5, but the tread would probably be so agressive that road noise would still be an issue. I bet steering would be better though.

when I was doing tires on my fj45 I wanted to go 35x10.5 but at that time trying to get the Interco SSR(its a radial MT) in 35x10.5 was a problem. But if not for that I would have gone with them. I would almost for sure go with a 8" wheel.
